You People 2/10
You think a movie with Jonah Hill and Eddie Murphy would be funny as , but it was mostly just cringe.
Yeah I fell asleep. Anyone know if it's worth finishing

I haven't Eddie do anything funny since Beverly hills cop 2
The movie was but I thought this was funny...
Also, he was good as donkey.
glass onion, knives out mystery
pretty solid 7.5/10
Recently watched “Boiling Point” for the first time. I quite enjoyed it. Big fan of the one shot films and shows that are starting to emerge. Movie had its flaws and wasn’t a masterpiece.
give it a solid 8/10
Really? I actually really liked it. It’s a pretty good reflection of society. I’ve been in multiple interracial relationships and a lot of that stuff rings pretty true. It was supposed to be cringey and make you feel that way. That was the point
Nutty Professor was pretty funny imo, just watched it at a brewery the other day. Young Chappelle is funny to watch too
what in the total
I like when the old Japanese lady cussed at Brad Pitt and the sub les were wrong
You disagree? I thought they were both hilarious, memorable and fun.
Yeah the Thomas the Tank Engine guy killed me. Sometimes a stupidly over the top movie like that can be fun, same reason I liked Scarface with Pacino's horrible accent and Robert Loggia playing a Cuban kingpin.
I thought it was great for the first 20 minutes, and and then realized it was just going to be the same joke over and over for the rest of the movie. And somehow David Duchovny was infinitely funnier than Eddie Murphy or Julia Louis Dreyfus. What an absolute waste of talent in that movie. It was like the 2013 Lakers if Kobe was bleached blonde and fat and half-assing it all season.
I enjoyed Bullet Train but 8 seems really high. I saw The Menu at the theater and wasn't really impressed. I didn't hate it but it's nowhere near a 9 for me.
I doubt I'll ever rewatch either of these moves again.
I think I probably rated these in a thread somewhere. If I had to guess, I'd have given Bullet Train a 7 and Menu a 6.
I thought both Duchovny and Murphy were funny and had good lines. Jonah Hill is always Johan Hill. Julia Louis Dreyfus was the biggest waste imo. Her character was irritating as to me.
Not to mention the whole conflict and resolution. Hard to imagine two people in love giving up because of their acknowledged stupid parents. And then for the parents to get together and create a wedding.
I loved the idea for the Menu but thought it ended up being bland all in all. The ending left a bad taste in my mouth as well.
The s'mores thing at the end made me chuckle just because it was so stupid
I forgot to mention M3gan a couple of weeks ago. 8/10. Fun watch.
Ive seen Out of the Furnace several times. Casey Affleck is nails in that movie. Great film
Ill check Old Henry out for sure. Im a sucker for a good western.
I was kind of surprised I'd never heard of Out of the Furnace. Christian Bale and Casey Affleck in some hillbilly gangster is something I'd checkout.
Old Henry is a damn good movie.
Banshees of Inisherin - 5/10
Would have been better as a 20 minute movie. Far too repe ive and frankly dull. Some funny parts but overall would not recommend, and doesn't belong anywhere near the Oscar Best Picture category.
Man, I liked it a lot.
Most Best Picture category selections I have never found to be all that great.Slumdog Millionaire being the big one, but several others also.
Bruiser……. 9/10
