when they stroll right off the buildings to their deaths was sooooo god damned awesome. The Gator skit was the best bit from that movie tho.

    Back to the Future

I've seen it a hundred times but didn't come to this conclusion until watching it a couple months ago, when I was struck by just how perfect it is. The casting is perfect, the score is one of the best of all time, the story is deceptively complex for a mainstream movie if you think about it. Just an absolute masterpiece of cinema that manages to have wide appeal without being dumbed down in any way.
I'll sign on to this over the Super Bad love. Man, Lite to on that train.

    GOAT movie scene tbh

You gimps read/watched some hipster reviews about this sh** being goat, and you're still holding on.

It's just a limp- ed movie about a psycho, a coin, and his fire extinguisher gun ffs.

questioning my taste as i'm agreeing with derp on quite a few of these ... watched no country for old men for the first time a couple of years ago and came away wondering why it got so much acclaim/hype at the time

there will be blood came out around the same time and is a much much better movie

This 100x. I'm a Cohen fanboy to the extreme, but No Country for Old Men doesn't surpass Lebowski, Raising Arizona or Fargo. That's pound for pound, genre for genre. Not even sure I can put it over Oh Brother, Where art Thou? honestly.

Easily my top sports movie of all time.
Hoosiers, The Natural, Slap Shot, Field Of Dreams, Rocky, Miracle, Major League, Tin Cup, A League Of Their Own, Littler Giants Sandlot, Rudy, Caddy Shack, Cool Runnings, Eight Men Out, The Replacements, Lady Bugs, Bend It Like Beckham, Semi Pro are all better.

I would put it ahead of White Men Can't Jump, Any Given Sunday, Jerry McGuire, The Mighty Ducks, Space Jam, Blue Chips, He Got Game, Remember The ans, The Blind Side, and The Bad News Bears.

Haven't seen Friday Night Lights or Moneyball. I knew each situation in real life and didn't want to watch Hollywood glorify the out of them.

I haven't seen Raging Bull; some people say that's the best sports movie. There's some others I haven't seen that could be decent.

Some of those I could move up or down; just really quickly though.

Maybe. I remember liking it; not sure I watched the entire thing or not; it just didn't strongly resonate with me. But I didn't think it was a bad movie or anything.

hmm, as far as sports movies my tier 1 is probably miracle, remember the ans, white men cant jump, major league

i also really enjoy jerry maguire, caddy shack, slap shot, the replacements.

i also dont hate sandler's longest yard. the cast had great chemistry tbh

blind side was an ok first watch but probably way too boring for a rewatch. i always felt the natural and field of dreams were just boring for my taste

I hated Rocky. Every boxing movie has ridiculous unrealistic fights that make Gatti-Ward I look like Mayweather vs Mayweather.
