I think you may be alone in that assessment.
The Beach.
Even after 10 years of being out, I can't find any other movie that tops it.
What an awesome underrated movie.
I think you may be alone in that assessment.
I've never even heard of that movie. Had to google. Has a 6.3 on IMDB, so I doubt many agree.
Lol always listening to a critique to give you an idea of how good a movie is.
No way it tops this
oooh very nice. Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction, and The Godfather, greatest gangster movies ever
actually the public enemy and white heat are some of the best, but youre too sucked into pop culture to broaden your horizons.

Haven't watched that movie but i take die hard or the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Gotta go with the childhood favourite.
What's for dinner, Richard?
The Beach is not even Danny Boyle's best movie.
okay okay, I'll give 127 hours a close second on the list of Boyle directed movies.
I guess watching a movie as adventurous and aesthetically pleasant as The Beach during my younger years is why I still won't rank anything higher.
ing awesome question of the movie.
Uh WHAT????
28 Days Later and Trainspotting say hi.
Not even the sheer dominance of Leo can save The Beach from being a mediocre ass movie.
Braveheart, imho.
I saw it, it sucked. Even Leo said it was a piss poor choice.
me neither.
PS: I'm ashamed to say I don't think I've ever seen goodfellas.

The Beach was really good for sure.
But, Shutter Island is on another level of film. Absolutely amazing.
then Pulp Fiction, A Clockwork Orange, The Good Bad Ugly, and Fight Club
I thought it was good, but it just lacked something that kept it from being great. The message was powerful, though: every Eden has it's serpent, and the serpent of The Beach was total selfishness.
