    I don't think anyone would have predicted in '99 that Jaren Jackson would have played an instrumental role in beating the Lakers.

    Things like that do happen, and I think that's what it's gonna take. Somebody's going to have to step up outta left field.

    I always liked Novak, even back in his Houston days. 2 years ago he got 16mpg for the Clippers and I thought he was going to play that kind of role somewhere for the next 5 years, but then he dropped off the charts again. Every team has a spot for an icy quick-release shooter. But then I guess his lack of any other definable skill, and liability on D/boards, has limited his career. Glad he finally landed with us, and I reckon he'll nail at least one huge 3 for us this playoffs.

    I think thats the difference between guys like novak and neal, they just shoot, they dont care, while bonner needs to have high confidence at the time to hit shots.
