Tiago was great... but at this rate Tony is going to be worn down by the end... Hill needs to figure out how to attack that zone, and Bonner needs to be told to stay with Wallace in the corner...
Splitter was excellent. The only downer was picking up two fouls in the last 90 seconds of the half, but his stock has to be rising as fast as Blair's is falling.
And yeah, the Blazer announcers are ing annoying..
Right before Bonner hit that 3, he looked lost on both ends of the court!
Spurs announcers said Splitter with at least 2 blocks but none credited on nba.com??
1st qtr: Spurs attacking paint = huge lead (3 3s taken)
2nd qtr: Spurs start shooting outside = lead gone (9 3s taken)
pathetic.
Need Parker to get it going again. He started fast but didn't do much of anything that second quarter. We need to close on three point shooters, quit turning it over and quit giving them second chances.

Very happy I got the Spurs guys on league pass tonight. Portland and Houston have by far the worst two homer announcers who always just rip on the Spurs for four quarters.

Regardless of the outcome of this game... you have to feel good about Tiago's progress and his place on our playoff roster going forward.
Bonner could be right in Wallace's face all night and it wont mean . Opposing players simply feel like Michael ing Jordan when they said ginger face.

As far as bigs go, Splitter great first half, maybe best of the season against a quality opponent. Bonner pretty good one. Combined 26min, 6/6 shooting, 14pts, 10rbs, 1ass, 2stl, 0 turnovers.
Dice and Blair were horrible: 22min, 0/4 shooting, 0pts, 4rbs, 1ass, 0 turnovers.
you'd think so but i honestly wouldnt put it past Pop to bench him again once TD is back.
Tiago has shown flashes of this all season and has still been benched for no reason at all.
Spurs starters are playing very well. The bench looks really lost..
