Novack is a dip . How does Tony get stuck with Batum ?

How is Tony not on the offensive play, but on the defensive one with 0.9sec (only a lob pass can work)????

Even smart guys like Pop can be dumb sometime I guess...

WHAT A IN' BUNCH OF PUSSIES!!!!!! If would rather lose 1st round than get my hopes up and play like in the WCF and get blown. Anyone thinks this team, with an aging TD is gonna win the championship this year, then you're just as dumb as that got ass Pop.

Spurs look out of gas sadly. They have little moments of quality play, but they can't sustain it. People shrugged off all the blowouts and every loss they said "burn the tape". Spurs made no progress.

Lets hope they can hang onto the 1st seed. That is the first goal and should be their only focus now.

Spurstalk is too funny. This was a good loss for us.
Yeah, great loss with Tim out at least a couple more games, LA on fire, and with Memphis, Portland, and Boston the next 3 games and then a game against LA.

We were up 2 at the break. Small ball commenced with 3 to play in the 3rd and we were down 6. 12 min later we are up 10, a 16pt tournaround. Why change it? Stupid turnovers, 3 in the last 36 seconds which led to 6 straight points, cost us this game. Plus the re foul call with .9 when the refs interfered with the end of the game.

While I kinda suspected this loss, Spurs must hold onto the first seed. Gotta beat Grizzlies on Sunday, and then we can get some sweet revenge on Blazers on Monday when they come to San Antonio.

EVERYONE CALM THE DOWN! Yes we ed up big time. Yes Tiago should have been in the entire fourth quarter. This will help us in the playoffs. Manu and TP will not up again. This makes us hungry and opens our eyes. We can ing beat legit teams in Denver and Portland without TD, so with TD we will be fine. Yes this lost hurts like a mother er, but its a learning lesson. This kind of doesn't happen a lot kind of like T-Mac going ape on us in the last minute. We are preparing for the playoffs, so calm down and keep the negative bull away. GO SPURS GO!

Spurs were up by 1 when Splitter came out of the game. Novak sat for 47 minutes, 59.1 seconds and then was asked to make a lob inbounds pass on the road in a tie game.

Smallball and coaching. Sorry. Same reason the Spurs have four rings and not five.

ing , blowing these last two games is basically losing 4 days of rest the vets could have gotten heading into the playoffs. The Spurs have to have the #1 seed to have an outside shot vs LA. Without homecourt, their chance vs LA is zero.

The end-of-game plays that have been drawn up these past two games have been laughable at best. Amateur junk.

I also find it funny how the "burn the tape" crew will respond. Every loss they say "this will fire the Spurs up! They will learn and improve!". They haven't.

They have serious, serious problems. It's not that they don't want to, but they physically seem unable too. They look like they reached the top of their mountain and have started downhill.

I can still see them getting to the WCF, but beyond that, I just don't see anything. I see a very short series vs LA, if SA can make it that far.

How many times have the Spurs lost in such a fashion?
Last second lob w/ no time left for an easy layup and a loss?
I remember the lob to Dwight Howard sometime back, similar play.
Why didn't pop get taller guys on the floor? Something they need to work on for the playoffs.
Good thing we have a 6 game cushion or otherwise we'd be up $%&! creek!.

The Howard play was what immediately sprung to mind, although at least the Spurs defended that play somewhat appropriately. This was just bad.

Cool. I never said they have 0 good games. I said that since the hot start, they have played more poor games of late than good ones. One good game doesn't erase the constant problems that have persisted. One good game doesn't mean all is better.

Spurs have legit problems and have had them for a while now. Problems le teams don't have.

You didn't say any of that . You said "They look out of gas, sadly" and I was just pointing out that they didn't last week against dallas, so I don't think that they are.
