they should have stuck closer to the book with that storyline.
No one is useless as Danerys. Im already getting bored with her in the show.
The scenes with Arya and Tywin are owning this season.
they should have stuck closer to the book with that storyline.
1000000000% agree, Arya and Tywin actress/actor are stealing the entire show with their scenes.
That's been my favorite so far... which is weird since it didn't happen in the books...
Have a feeling it is going to be a hectic final couple of episodes...
Next episode should be REALLY good!
Why did they killed off Dyneris guy? Ever since that she has nothing to do and her scenes are getting tedious with the obsessiveness she has over them dragons.
At least when the mongol was alive he kept things interesting. I mean, putting a guy's face in hot fire with liquid gold? That's priceless.
Dany becomes much less of a whiny next season, and really starts acting like a Queen/ruler.
it comes and goes.
OH ME!!
There's one episode left right? I hate that before this series started the preview had the actors talking about... "If you love battles you're going to love season 2"
with 2 episodes to go they finally have a small battle -_-
show motivated me again to finish song of ice and fire audiobooks
Those books are on audiobooks? Was looking for them sometime back cuz I was feeling too lazy to read the books.
Probably just a marketing tactic. But I wasn't excited just for the battles anyway.
For a TV show, blackwater battle exceeded my expectations but a little too much Sansa and Cersei talk.
Personally while I do think the explosion was impressive and the gore of some kills...
I thought they could have done a better job to show the number of people fighting in this battles, considering they are talking about "thousands dead and hundreds of ships"... in reality they just showed like 40 something people and a tiny gate, I know it's expecting too much from a TV show but c'mon dude... at least CGI some ers or make the place a little bigger..
Haha.. agreed on the number of people and ships. I don't know if you watch Spartacus but they had an episode this season with horrible CGI but no one complained about that. They could have applied a similar approach to the number of ships, and maybe the battlefield.
People who have read the book were probably disappointed that we didn't get to see more of Tyrion in action.
Yeah what happened to him anyway?
for a second there I thought his head was about to split open...
got slit and passed out?
Yeah I thought the same.
BTW who's that kid the queen was about to poison? Came out of nowhere..
I think that's one of her kids.. I'm sure he's been in an episode or two for a minute... we just don't pay attention to them because they're usually on the side as dialogue is going on.
In the book he loses his nose after that attack
The audience is supposed to assume possible death, like with Bran and Rickon a few episodes back. I read the books so I could spoil it but not in a public thread like this one.
Since another poster already alluded to him surviving, I'll confirm that he does survive but his face is "disfigured."
In the books, he actually does well in battle killing a few of Stanis' men.
The kid is her youngest son and Joffery's younger brother. He plays a bigger role later on.
She wanted to poison him because she was afraid that Stanis' would brutally torture any surviving Lanisters.
Ive found first three books so far. Bout to start the 3rd. I love them. I can workout/study/chill and listen to this amazing story. The prob is listening to them at night and falling asleep. I find myself missing a lot of good stuff lol.
3rd book is ing awesome.
Did anybody see that Season 2 finale?! ...got...REAL
Calisi bout to start some and so those dudes at the end. Can't wait to next season starts. Season 2 went so fast. Hope lil arya gets back to her mommy.
