anything with time travel is always going to be weird
but yeah he was born a normal kid and at some point in his childhood, future bran comes in and s him up, which is why the adult version we've always seen is ed over
Sometimes Ghost would be unlocked at Castle Black and able to jump in to help Snow or Sam. Other times he would be locked up. Other times Ghost would be wandering around in the wilderness on his own.
They really did a horrible job with him

Poor Hodorwhat
I liked season 7. Finally got to see characters we want to see in battle vs other characters we want to see in battle.
Main criticisms of S7, as i recall were:
Plan to capture a wight
how fast Daenerys got there
Every GOT character post season 5:
Tbh.
The first 4 seasons of the show were great. It gradually started going downhill after that. Then of course ended with the show that was the final season
SPOILER - For purposes of the show, you don't really need to understand it. It was a cool idea that moved the show along for one episode and then goes on to be completely irrelevant going forward. You also don't need to remember anything about the children of the forest or the three eye raven. Just ignore the 4 year build up in Bran's story.
Except re-remember that for the last episode where he apparently saw this all play out to become king.
God, Dan and dave thought this was such a winner and such a plot twist. s.
Oh yeah, I loled how they killed the "general" and all the wights he had raised in that group were destroyed...... except for the one they needed which must have been raised from the dead by another general.
All of the travel timelines from castle to castle were ridiculously fast. I just tried to ignore it
Lol yeah I feel like I could have skipped seasons 2-5 and not really missed much
pretty sure bran literally had no appearances in season 5
Good old game of thrones. Anybody still interested in any sequels?
A couple spin-offs in the works IIRC.
A continuation of the series would be a huge money maker, tbqh. But I'd prefer they just let it die.
