If he goes anywhere, it will be to the nets.
So, AK47 is being a Prima Donna , you blame one team out of 30, and the other 29 teams somehow get a pass? W T F?
If he goes anywhere, it will be to the nets.
He is doing amazing in the world qualifying tournament in Venezuela.
If that's the case then on to Kaman,Kmart or Camby.
I was going to post today that Andrei seems to be first on our list, but the Spurs probably haven't even contacted him.
Looks like I was right. What in the are the Spurs doing????????
What are they supposed? Teams are probably contacting his agent and his agent is telling them to wait. All AK is saying is that he's had no contact with teams not that teams haven't contacted his people.
kirilenko come to ing San Antonio, we need your tattoo
What are they supposed to do? Put a gun to the FAs head?
@ spursfan
Just because there aren't reports of the Spurs meeting with FAs and vice versa doesn't mean it isn't happening.
I was just going off the post that said Andrei hasn't talked to anyone. I figured he'd be a great fit on the Spurs and surprised if they haven't at least contacted him or his agent. They very well may have and not letting anyone know, but I'd still like to hear about it if they are going after him.
No, a simple phone call will do.
Yes it does. Most rumors involving the Spurs aren't really rumors at all. The Spurs, like most teams call up and ask for ballpark figures, and when they hear the asking price, they usually hang up and move on.
So you work for the Spurs?
He's not going to the Nets. They used their taxpayers MLE (3.09 Million) on Teletovic. The only way he goes to the Nets is the vet min: ain't happening.
Nothing should happen on the Kirilenko front as long as he is playing with Russia the Olympic qualifying tournament. It will end at the latest this Sunday.
While Spurs biggest issue to get Kirilenko is a lack of money, I'm' not sure how he would feel with playing PF. These past years, he has played almost only SF and he might not want to play PF again and face heavier players.
If you want to see AK47 play, he is on NBATV right now: Russia vs Nigeria
http://www.eurohoops.net/2012/07/dunks/7100It’s almost a done deal and it’s a big win for European basketball. Andrei Kirilenko, the marquee superstar of last season’s Euroleague, according to sources from Moscow has already decided to stay at least one more year at CSKA.
Kirilenko can use the NBA opt out clause in his three year contract until the 12th of July, but he seems to have already made up his mind. He wants to stay at Moscow and win the Euroleague le
So if he comes he has to go back to Utah.....so if that happened do you think we could work out a sign and trade with Utah we take AKC and they take SJ?
