That was an unbelievable game. To be down 17-4 and then come back and not just win but kick the out of them was just stunning. Manu Ginobili is redefining basketball. He is changing the game, and I can't help but think that while everybody has been looking every year to the first pick of the draft to be the next Michael Jordan, he's been here all along (and a second rounder at that). Incredible.

^Well, I think that if the Spurs win Tim will still get MVP. He's the marquee star of the Spurs and while he'll probably have very similar offense numbers to Manu, his numbers on defense (17 rebounds tonight! Wow!) will be better.

    can you spell..

    G I N O B I L I

They played well, but to be realistic all you did was what you were suppose to do, protect your home court. Ginobili and Dunkin were beast however, the Punks. We will see you game two.

The Piston fans must be complaining about the officiating error in the 4th quarter, and thought that the T-foul on B Wallace changed the entire game. But the TRUTH is, the Spurs is going to win this game regardless of the refs, as Parker and Ginobili, well rested by Pop through the first 3 quarters, lead the team soaring to victory. And this is made possible because the Spurs has got more reliable reserves. Just wonder how it can be if Devin gets back to full health.

No kidding. At least the NBA ditched that awful half-time trend. Will anything ever remove from my brain that terrifying, searing image of Lisa Marie Presley trying to scream her way out of a painful corset on national television?

The scary thing is if you take the last series as models and the fact that we played rusty. The spurs still can play alot better. Manu was crap in the first half. Parker was not consistent. Bowen, Barry, and Horry will hit more shots than they miss.

Bottom line is the Pistons better be able to keep turning it up under the pressure because the Spurs are going to play better.

I always enjoyed that excuse. It's so much better than "the calls didn't go our way" or "we were injured and tired"

I think the Pistons have some legit complaints about some calls, but there's still plenty of games for that to be redressed.

Despite the heroics of Manu and Tim, Nazr may have been the difference. He outplayed B. Wallace. Even up on rebounds and blocks (7and 3) but shot 4-8 and scored 10 pts to wallace's 5.

    Way to go NAZR!

How 'bout the utterly horrific nightmarish heap of what-the- that was Big & Rich and their Rapping Black Cowboy during the All-Star game this year?
