Manu needs to learn the bounce pass. Bounce passes get through much more that the baseball pass. I dunno how many times he whipped it and someone got a hand on it. Much harder and less instinctual to bend down to the floor to deflect a bounce pass.

Manu's got a great bounce pass, but it's hard to get a bounce pass to a bigman like Duncan in traffic. Naturally, this is why they rely on quick postup passes and lobs.

You're right, though, he definitely needs to 86 the sauce on those es.

Can you believe it? Glenn Robinson--Mr. Offense--made 3 count 'em, 3 BLOCKED SHOTS.

I gotta give props to Detroit. They ing had San 'Antoin running like chickens w/no head for 2 full quarters. nobody's done that to them yet. and they might pull something else out of their sleeve later in the series. So, for real, this series is the toughest in our playoffs and it's a welcome challenge to us. San Antonio is gonna prevail but props to the 2nd best team in the league.

^Well, I think that if the Spurs win Tim will still get MVP. He's the marquee star of the Spurs and while he'll probably have very similar offense numbers to Manu, his numbers on defense (17 rebounds tonight! Wow!) will be better.
I agree, TD is the stud on the team, but Manu will be turning some heads in this series and will now be a lock ALL Star for next year, that is for sure.

He was awesome in the 2nd half.

    YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

What's even better - I actually watched it all!

I am in Japan teaching English, and I had lessons for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th quarters, so I just told the teachers that we were going to do a "culture lesson", and taught some NBA rules and vocab to the classes. They ate it up!!! How cool is that???

I forgot to teach them "OWNED" though...

Another reason was Brent got three fouls. I was very surprised with Robinson's D. He helped create three key stops to help right the ship in the 1st half.

Yeah, but sometimes it works out. Prime example: Game 6 2003 WCF.

I was glad Jimcs text messaged Pop on his cell during the 2nd timeout. Good adjustments call there Jim, as usual.

(I thought I'd save you the trouble )

Pop gambled and it payed off. I've always like Pop's timeouts and subs utions. He knows when to do it and how to do it. The court is a chess board and he is Bobby Fisher.

You tell me this guy doesn't want to win. He played defense like his life dependent on it. He lead the team in blocks. Good job Big Dog. It was to the point were I wanted him in there and got mad when he went with Barry instead of him.
