Wow. Thoughts are with you guys and I hope for his speedy and full recovery
Some of you might know, but for the many who don't -- my husband (timvp) has been in the hospital for two weeks.
What seemed like the flu a month ago, progressed into a massive liver abcsess (over 5 inches wide), pneumonia/lung infection and more caused by a very unsusual bacteria. Last Monday in ICU, the doctors told us that he might not make it. As you can imagine, it was a really rough time for us. Through his strength and the support of many people, he began making baby steps of progress.
He fought through the days and nights -- trying hard to force air into his lungs to keep them going and to get the infection out of his body.
Now, things are improving day by day. We have some final hurdles to get through, so that's why I'm asking now for prayers and good thoughts from the SpursTalk family.
It should go without saying, but this thread is absolutely not a place to troll. We need him well. He has a wife, three babies, and plenty of other friends and family who want and need him to be healthy.
Thanks for your support.

I have no doubt he'll continue to get better. When you have plenty to live for it gives you that much more strength to fight.
I saw something about this on your FB page the other day, but had no idea what you were referring to.
Thoughts are definitely with him and the rest of you guys.
well that sucks, hopefully everything turns out ok
Wow the whole "might not make it" turns your stomach upside down when you first hear it. I know it did it for me when I heard it. Hard news for you and your family to deal with I'm sure. Best wishes and thoughts yalls way.
So good to hear that there are signs of improvement.
My thoughts are with timvp and family.
Keep fighting timvp and get well soon.
Damn. Please get well TimVP. I am praying for you and your family. Stay strong Kori. Love you KoKo.
that is very sad to hear
i will be praying for timvp
if theres anything i can do for yall just let me know.
Wow. What a terrible situation. Thoughts and prayers with timvp, you, and your family. Stay strong.
have faith and hang in there to support him, seems like what his going through is what happened to my dad a few years ago as i posted on here about his condition...which the doctors couldnt even figure out what he caught, so they drained his lungs and cut out the infected lung and a few hrs later another surgery for internal bleeding, they say he wouldnt make it overnight with 2 life threatening surgeries in one day. buut we kept hanging in there and he pulled through.
the only thing we can all do now is just prayer and let the doctors do their thing as his in the best hands atm.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Our daughter had a similar (but nowhere near as harsh) thing happen, and she got very ill... but she got better. Amazing how when things were going so well, and then it just turns around... I hope for you all that he recovers quickly, without any lingering problems.
Damn Kori that sucks. But you know what they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and I'm sure once LJ recovers, your relationship/family will be all the more stronger for it.
Get better timvp.
I am sorry for your struggles and yall are in my thoughts, if you need anything (someone to bring you food, etc) PM me and I will see what I can do.
Prayers sent to you, Timvp and family.
God is with you and may he keep you strong.
