They're not from Microsoft nor do they say so on the eBay page. It's a third party, but appears to work.
.. HDD's for the XBox Slim? Or am I being lied to? Cause I have only ever seen OEM 250 gig.

They replied to my message saying it is OEM, and they do have 15 sold already all with positive feedback. However in their details it says this is the largest storage option for the Slim, which is a lie.

Stay away... yeah, it uses a hacked firmware, and for the most part it works, but it's not made by MS and it's detectable. MS is also coming out with a 320GB drive for the Slim soon.
Anybody gonna use all that space on a 360?
Rage was 24 gigs installed...
If Rage was 24 then Skyrim... ohhhh man..
What's the real risk of getting caught with an aftermarket HDD? Thousands of people use them, and thousands more used modded HDD's from the old 360s.
The risk is getting your console banned from Live... much like any other modded console. Will it happen? Nobody knows. Do you want to run the risk? That's the question you want to ask yourself.
Nah. I'll just fork over the extra dough on eBay and get a real one I suppose. They're going for $40 cheaper than retail.
, so much for the idea of playing Skyrim off a 16GB flash drive, lol.
Well, the single player campaign for Rage was 2 discs (16 gigs). Then there's another 8 gigs for the Multiplayer disc. You could get away with a 16 gig pen drive for Rage.
I just don't know how many discs Skyrim is going to be.
Then you should be fine... each disc is 8 gig max
I'm going back and forth on getting a 3rd party, or OEM. They are just so damn expensive.
Do you play more than one game at a time?
Nope.
I found a 250gig OEM for 75 bucks though. I think I'm going to bite.
If you don't play more than one game at a time, a fast 16GB pen drive might work for you...
I got a OEM 250gig for 81 bucks.
Good deal. I have one of those in my 360 and works good
Cool. This dude has 100% feedback out of 885. Plus he shipped it today, and I paid for it this morning, so it's lining up to be a great deal.
