Teams will be 4 1/2* Star Maximum. You can choose from any league. No INTERNATIONALS.

Everyone will play each other 2 games then we have playoffs.

Rules

1. 6 minute halves
2. Any control scheme you want.
3. TACTICAL DEFENDING
4. Normal Speed.
5. The result should be posted in this thread with this format:
   
   • Week and teams in bold
   • Score
6. I will post the schedule as we go. In the thread and current games to be played will be also posted in the OP.
7. Be Active. Play your games.
8. IF YOU LET THE AI DEFEND FOR YOU, YOU WILL BE BANISHED FROM ANY FUTURE LEAGUES
9. Disconnects will be dealt with by the players best discretion. If it is close in the early part of the game, just regame. If it is 4-0 in the 80th minute, use common sense. Any conflicting issues will be deal with by the commissioner. (Me).

I also have a question about letting the AI defend for you. I usually bring a second player that I control to pressure the ball, or sometimes choose a player further back if I anticipate a header could be coming. I mostly do on the ball defending myself, but if a player is running on the outside of the box to cross it in I usually select a defender already in the box, as an example.

Is this not allowed? I assume letting the AI defend for you simply meant you couldn't just let the AI do everything and simply control a player all the time who has nothing to do with the play.

These are really just some rules Maxi copied from another webpage, so I wouldn't worry about it. We all do what you are describing.

Oh okay, I just didn't wanna play a game and then get penalized because the AI helped me out while I was anticipating a pass or something.

By AI defending i was referring to switching to the goal keeper. They released a patch that disables this now so it shouldn't be a problem.

So serious, I'm not trying to be a but if Lefty can only play one game a week for a few weeks maybe we should do this go around without him and bring him back in next time around. Otherwise there's no way we finish as fast as we did the first league.
