Wilder defends his le against Molina tonight in his first le defense. Anybody watching this?
Yeah. I caught it. It was like a voluntary bout. Being a le fight to your home state/city type of deal. Did what he had to do. Also scheduled to get some rounds in and test his wrist after the Stiverne fight. Dude bent the rods in his wrist. Lol.

That's nice, but posting a quote from him in the last few weeks isn't relevant. Ward balked publicly at the matchup when he might have had an opportunity, then he had a long layoff, and now he wants in when the guys who were active are already lined up to fight. He's going to have to find a way to get his foot in the door, but Canelo or Cotto are ahead of him in line now. That's just how it is. You have a serious rooting interest in Ward, and I don't care either way.

All that said, GGG had better take one of those big fights soon, or what Ward said above will start to resonate with everyone, and he'll get labeled a coward. Also we'll know more about Ward when he's had another fight. He looked rusty in his comeback, but it's good to see him fight again.

ward beats the out of ggg any day of the week including sunday. If ward looked rusty in his last fight, how did ggg look against a feather fisted Monroe? Ward was obviously more skilled than his opponent, but that mf was easily a hw on fight night and he stopped him.

As much as I love SOG, it was still Paul Smith. Slow, sloppy and undisciplined. Granted, Ward needed to just get back into the ring but whether he was close to being a heavyweight or not, it's still Smith. As far as Golovkin facing pillow hands Monroe, he looked great in the fight. You could obviously see that dude was taking shots just to walk him down. Fighters tend to do that when the know you can't hurt them and that's what happened with Golovkin and Monroe. At the end of the day, it was Willie Monroe.

Tyson Fury defeats Wladimir Klitschko to become Britain's seventh World Heavyweight champion. Seems likely it'll be an all British bout between Fury and Anthony Joshua for the le next year.

Hopefully we have a solid 2016:

    possible scraps:

    thurman v Porter
    SOG v Kovalev
    batman v superman
    canelo v GGG
maybe even Manny v Bradley, even though Manny got him twice.

Cant wait to see what Crawford's got going on.

Not a big fan of Danny Garcia, but he made some good adjustments mid fight. He looked good tonight, but it's not like Guerrero is sugar ray.

Garcia did well. Faced an actual decent 147er even though Guerrero is not at he top of the class. Dude always comes to fight and applies good pressure. Thought Garcia handled it well but don't know how he'll fair against Thurman. I think he might get worked in that fight. Garcia has a pretty nice resume.

Kovalev basically tortured Pascal and said he would do it. Made Roach stop the fight. Stevenson gets in the ring talking . Dude don't wanna see Kovalev. Ward v Kovalev is where it's at.

Like what I've seen from Joshua. Too bad politics stripped him of the IBF le.

Khan can really screw up . He wins, it pushes back that potential GGG v Canelo in the fall. Also looks like SOG is gonna get two tune up fights before stepping to Kovalev in November.

Easy work. Charles Martin, IBF Heavyweight Champion. Lol. These sanctioning bodies are worse than the Olympics and FIFA.

Understatement. And Martin has no business carrying that strap, let alone fight fo it. Joshua puts his sorry ass back into mediocrity.

Gotta wait until SOG step up in class of comp but he looked decent.

Manny my did what he did versus Bradley, who I think is the ultimate overachiever. Really 3-0 vs. Manny.

Check out Errol Spence going against Algeri tomorrow.

And look for you boy next weekend at the GGG card.

That was ... surprising. Algieri looked completely outclassed. Gonna say Spence is legit until proven otherwise.

hes pretty solid. Gave Floyd and broner the business in sparring. Floyd actually kicked him out his gym then brought him back in. Kid is slick. Algeri was a test. Now see how he fairs against Brook.

He's supposedly fighting Nathan Cleverly July 30 as prep work for his big showdown with Kovalev later in the year.
