It's an excellent book. I am about 3/4 of the way through it. Highly recommend.

    Speaking of finance reform:

Proposing an amendment to the Cons ution of the United States relating to contributions and expenditures intended to affect elections.

Now I don't particularly like corporate spending into elections, but it is no worse than the money unions spend. We either eliminate all big money, or none of it in my opinion, Not just target corporations.

    Unions represent their members.

    Corporations represent their stockholders.

    Cannot ethically unbalance the scale.

This attempt is absolutely disgraceful. "Congress shall have the power..." Ouch... Congress shall have the power, if one party holds both houses, to shut the other out!

    Are you sure about that?

    Are you sure about that?
    Absolutely.

Do all union members want a portion or their dues spent all the same way as the majority?

Do you disagree that corporate spending represents the majority stock holders opinion?

Why should unions be able to contribute to campaigns if corporations cannot?
