I said it during the playoffs last year. He's what the Phoenix Suns were at their peak with Nash, a great offensive machine which can be slowed down by a methodic preparation during the playoffs.

Him not knowing what to do with the ball in the last 5 minutes of the games or taking contested 30ft jumpers is IMO a bigger weakness than Wesbrook's desire to win games.

Durant and Rose have a lot to prove in the coming playoffs.
They are both young and very skilled and have plenty of room for mental growth. I agree with you... let's see how they perform this post season.

Really? You cannot comprehend the concept? Wow. I knew you were an ass, but I always have given you credit for having some intelligence. I might have to rething that...
The "Those Who Live In Glass Houses Shouldn't Throw Stones" saying implies that I criticized somebody for something I do myself. I don't recall criticizing Culburn for his lack of basketball takes. I simply made an observation. You took it upon yourself to infer something from that. I'm telling you your inference is wrong and that your double standard accusation has no merit.

    Now apologize to me.

Nobody wants to work the paint. It's a dieing art and protocol. The mental part of the game is being lost slowly. It takes a lot of focus to go down there and operate. And frankly the league doesn't want that lengthy process anymore. They want a plethora of bombs away, helter skelter game play. , one look at the paint from the Lazy Boy and it's a withering challenge to "live" there.

The path to least resistance is so seductive whether it be in life, or sport.

I don't mind if you throwin' stones, Midget, just don't peek in the windows of my room anymore. When I'm in there with my Luva conducting film sessions and strategerizin' our next moves you're not welcome, uh, asshole.

    You're not under my skin.

Please apologize for your false assertion that I was throwing stones at Culburn (which I wasn't).

Westbrook will preclude any team he is on from ultimately winning... He is just the current version of Steve Francis/Stefan Marburry/Allen Iverson...

Worthless, overvalued, and either exciting or aggravating to watch...

^Durant does his part in the losing too. He ain't without his bounty of guilt. 6'10" man loitering an arc 23 feet from the hoop is low down shame.

Regardless, Durant runs the show there.

Kevin Durant's game is based on 2 things... jumpshooting, and drawing fouls. He is very good at those two things, but unless he learns how to consistently create offense in a half court set, he probably won't be able to lead his team to a championship.

Seeing OKC try to execute half court sets on offense is absolutely excruciating, because there are basically 3 possible results for them.

    1. Half the time it's a storm of bad execution resulting in a bad shot or turnover.

    2. An occasional easy layup/dunk due to an opponents miscommunication or missed rotation.

    3. Or its KD/Westbrook/Harden dribbling around for the entire shotclock, waiting for their defender to make a small footwork mistake so they can just barrel into them while throwing up a shot and draw a garbage shooting foul.

They pretty much rely on the opponent to make a mistake, rather than enforcing their will on the game.

It took 26 shots for Durant to get that 33, that is two games in a row Parsons did a solid job on Durant. Players like Durant will get theirs, Parsons made him work for it though.
