this is perfect
Danny Green scouting Toronto night clubs before finding a place to stay
this is perfect
Much different demographics
Wait till Danny realizes Toronto women are half the size of ours and don't paint on their eyebrows.. His 3% shooting is gonna drop another 10%
Hope he gets a nice ovation tomorrow..
Just post this about his season. There are a lot more that I'm forgeting like best rmp...
-Franchise and personal record
Danny Green leads Toronto this season with a 45.6% 3P%, which is both a franchise record, and a personal best for Danny. So proud of Danny.
He gave the speech for Raptors team in last home game of the season.
Everyone loves him. The franchise, teammates, coaches, fans, media...
He's 2nd in the league in 3-point shooting, didn't realize he was that high..46%, Jesus Spurs would be the 3rd best in the West with this year's version of Green IMO, but too bad he couldn't play the same way in this system anymore..
Too bad Pop wasn't willing to change a bit his late-full mid j offense to help Danny to find himself again.
Good for D Verde. Help him get one more big contract.
i'll always have a soft spot for D-Leage Danny aka LDN
What system, he was bricking wide open threes when he was last seen in a Spurs uniform. Lets not forget how pathetic his performances were. Good for him that he found his shot again but thats about it.
So, you will always have a soft spot for LDN.
Remember Jonathon Simmons?
Is he in China yet?
'Tis but a warm up for the annual post-season disappearing act.
the Raptors system is better suited for Danny. Danny is a catch and shoot guy. Having him play on the left floor why LA posts up made him put the ball on the floor way too often. That's also why his 3-point percentage fell off a cliff. On another note I think he would've played better on this years version of the team, cause they move the ball more than prior with Kawhi and Tony on the court
When Danny can take the pass flat-footed and step into the shot, he's a totally different shooter. When he has to turn and reach, and then get back to square before shooting, his percentage goes way down. Whatever plusses Tony had, he wasn't a spot-on passer. Patty either. It got worse after Tim left. Danny got a lot more real catch-and-shoot feeds this year.
I still think he's going to get that last big contract and then decline. You know... unless he agrees to come back and sign one more discount deal with the Spurs, just for old time's sake. Then he'll just decline.
Good for Danny. Glad to see him have a good year.
Good analysis..it's not even a knock on Aldridge and his system, some players just don't play well together, especially role players, since their success is so dependent on their surroundings..
He was also carrying a groin injury most of last season.
...for the first time in four years
he was also motivated by being in a contract year.
