Richard was a servicable player. But overpaid. But great sportsmanship, a true professional throughout the whole trade rumors and badmouthing.
Good luck to his future endeavors
I will be missing you.RJ. wish you all the best.

That dunk over Oden was nasty.
well said
good, but rare highlights ... bye bye RJ !!!
Not sure why people think he's handled the near amnesty that well. He has stopped driving to the hoop completely, goes to the free throw line more rarely than Bonner and shows no intensity on the defensive end. He's played as safe as humanly possible. I don't find that as a good handling of the situation, albeit I do appreciate how he hasn't ed about it publicly. That's simply not good enough, though.
If only he would have played like that the whole time.....
We definitely saw a lot more dunk his first year here.
I think it was a combination of being the 4th option plus being in a system that was not run and gun that took away his abilities. He adapted by improving his 3point range but he should not have stopped attacking the basket.
These.
Just didn't give us enough of those moments to justify 8 figures. We needed 2-3 of those kinds of highlights per game, not per month.
I almost had forgotten about these. Nice, that's what we wanted from him but as others said, they were too rare.
oh, the memories...
It was something else to see RJ aggressive for the first month of every season. It made you hate the guy by playoff time because you knew what he was capable of.
It didn't work out the way we all would have liked, but I tip my hat to the front office for doing everything the could to bring another 'ship to SA. If asked to trade an over-the-hill Oberto, retiring Bowen and over-the-hill Thomas for Jefferson, I'd do it all over again.
Thanks for the memories RJ.
Good luck to you in what is hopefully the second half of your career.
3 years and those 10 plays are pretty much it
The dunk over oden was like his 3rd game as a Spur...I was all excited.
His best one was the one on Lee where he tried to "ride him like a donkey"
Look at that sissy armed shove
Sad to see what he could have been...
We spent most of Sean's career trying to get him to go to the rack as well. Some guys just don't have it in them. What sucks is that RJ used to before he became a Spur. Oh well. Best of luck to him. He's now playing for a team that desperately wants not to win.
Jefferson would have been awesome if the playoffs were in November and December.
I don’t know how close he was to his Dad but RIP.
I hope nobody here ever receives this kind of news about a loved one.

The father of NBA star Richard Jefferson was killed in a drive-by shooting in Compton on Wednesday evening ...
I just saw it was posted in the offseason thread. Tragic loss.
He should talk to Kawhi if he can find him.
That was a move.
