It's your own fault Wenger for not signing anyone besides a striker this transfer window while getting rid of 13 or so players. I can only wonder who's going to suit up for the Fenerbahce match.

Everyone is melting down. Many of the more level headed, long time Wenger supporters are even jumping ship. And, like resistanze mentioned yesterday, many fans are vowing not to spend any more money.

The man who is moneyless goes through the market fastest, and the 70m transfer fund is just a scam aimed at placating the enraged fans imho. Even if Wenger does have 70m fund available to spend in the market, it still wouldn't make any difference when the max salary allowed by the board is what? 3m a year or something? How could they lure top-class players to join them when the players could earn twice that figure playing for City or PSG?

Not a sham, they have well over 100m in cash on hand. As for wages, it has nothing to do with the board, and more to do with Wenger's philosophy. Arsenal is about as close to a dictatorship as it gets (among the ranks of BPL managers). Basically, Gazidis and the board have no teeth, and Arsene calls all the shots

He is coming from Paradou Academy, based in Algiers; the guy who runs it is Guillou, who is friend of Wenger.

He is a trialist, by the way, so he is not officially signed for the youth team.

He can also play DM, and was close to signing with Porto last year

If he's versatile, why not at least give him a shot on the U21 squad? Wenger may be a cheap asshat, but he can definitely scout talent. Doubt he would bring him in if he was completely worthless.

Yeah

But maybe he brought him over to London to do his buddy (Guillou ) a favor


Bensebaini has played 2 friendlies with the Arsenal U21 team this summer; he didnt look so good in both of those games, but they played against 2 Senior ( ty, but Senior) clubs.
Also, the other CB, a player from FC Barcelona, was as well in those games.

So I dont know, Wenger must see something him for having in him and other 4 youngsters train with the Sr team twice
