People seem to be on the hype waggon because he possibly scored the league winning goals in the Premier League now. The thing is: Yaya is a bit of everything but no specialist at any position. He doesn't have the distribution, touch and game intelligence of Busquets in defensive midfield, he isn't a central playmaking metronome like Xavi and he is certainly no Iniesta in attacking midfield, albeit he can play all 3 positions and he can play them better than most other players in the world (well, except Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta). He wouldn't be starting material for us although he'd be the PERFECT backup because of his versatility. We surely could have done with his physicality and height against Chelsea. But we can't keep a € 30 million midfielder on the bench for the odd 2 or 3 games in the season where he might be the better option to start. And he himself obviously didn't want that either. So that was that and he left. Keite on the other hand accepted to be our Keite.

    WTF??

"well, except Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta"
trying to sneak Busquets in with Xavi and Iniesta
Pep sneaking Busquets into Barca starting XI at their peak
I could've been the holding midfielder the past 2 years
    horrendously overrated

The only area where Busi is inferior to Yaya is the goalscoring...also Yaya's best performances for City came with a DM behind him. Make of this info you want.
Yaya has nothing on Busquets as DM or even CM, he may have an edge at AM but then Busi doesn't play there... Busquets is clearly the better player without a shadow of a doubt, especially for the needs of our club...

    Well it's purely from Yaya:

In other words, if Barca are interested, he's back.
    Ah ok

Yaya has had a size complex since they signed Dzeko

He knows he will look good next to the midgets in Barcelona

I've always had discussion's with my friends arguing who was better, I said Yaya, they said Busquets. So I prefer Yaya but saying Busquets > Yaya is not lmao worthy, it's definitely arguable.

The thing is that Yaya is more flashy, he can get past people with the dribble and he likes to attack more but Busquets is more cerebral, he always makes the right pass and is in the right place at the right time.

As a player I prefer Yaya but I would argue that Busquets is the better fit at center miedfielder for Barca.

If Barca sucks under Villanova, Pep will comeback to save the team. He has it all planned out.

Valencia have sold Jordi Alba, claims Emery

The versatile left-back has been repeatedly linked with a move to Camp Nou this summer and the 40-year-old coach has now revealed that the player has left Mestalla

The Spain international has been heavily linked with Barcelona in recent months but thus far there has been no official confirmation that the player is bound for Camp Nou.

However, in discussing his time at Mestalla in an interview with Onda Cero, Emery has claimed that Alba has already parted company with Los Che.

"Valencia is a team that buys players who are not the finished article and then, when they are finished, possibly sells them on, as has happened with Jordi Alba," the 40-year-old coach mused.

Barca have reportedly identified the versatile Alba as the ideal replacement for Eric Abidal, who has been ruled out of action for an indefinite period of time after undergoing a liver transplant.

However, Manchester United and AC Milan are also believed to be interested in the Blaugrana youth academy product, who is just as comfortable on the wing as he is in defence.

Emery, meanwhile, is now expected to take charge of Russian outfit Spartak Moscow.
Hmmmmm. Barring any major turns, it seems like Jordi Alba is Camp Nou-bound.

but it's Goal.com so I still have my doubts.
