In GOD's defense, he wanted Valverde to continue. Barca's management is just one up after another, they have no notion whatsoever about how football works. They will end up running Messi away from Barca.

Barcelona looking for a 9:

Rumors are Griezmann wanted to play 9, but feels players are jealous.
Barca’s various Twitter accounts were hacked today
Huge scandal in Barcelona. Antena C discovered, Bartomeu spent $1M of Barça’s money to attack anyone with whom he had issues. They attacked Messi, Piqué and many others:
Don’t see how can Bartomeu survive, no matter how shameless.
Messi still delivering silverware on that cluster of an organisation.
Bartomeu has to be the worst president of any club in history. He was handed the greatest team in history and turned it into a hole.
Except the CL trophy
Messi asking that either Bartomeu advances elections or bring Lautaro, Tagliafico and Fabián, otherwise he's leaving Barça. He didn't insist on Neymar, because Messi, Suárez and Piqué demanded their salaries frozen to make room for Neymar, but Ney didn't ask once publicly that wanted out of PSG.

In football things change rather quickly. Apparently, Neymar is set to return to Barça:

Not sure what will Griezmann do if Neymar returns, my guess is he plays elsewhere.
Madrid were doing much worse in recent years in CL. Embarrassed by Ajax and would’ve been cucked by City on top of choking la liga again and again and again.
Speaking of being embarrassed
Cucked by AS ing Roma
Remontacucked
At least Ajax had stars in the making
Remontacucked by Liverpool
Give me an exemple of Madrid being remontacucked
I’ll wait
AS Roma
their best player was Dzeko
retirement home
Roma was pathetic but they were one goal from reaching the CL final
Barça got €500M from Goldman Sachs, if I'm not mistaken. Though, Laporta has to cover huge losses of last two seasons with that money and get some cash for insanely high salaries Bartomeu left on books. They may get few players too, they need two good center backs and a defensive midfielder. Laporta brings Agüero . . . to at least keep Messi happy with his buddy, by whatever means necessary.
They may have to move Griezmann, his salary is very high and gets even higher every season. But those that really have to go, have untouchable salaries.
We need a #9 in the worst way, Aguero is coming on a free and for a very fair salary.
However, I agree with everything else you wrote. We desperately need to start signing DM's and CB's now.
Barca trying their hardest to get rid of Griezman. I told you mofos this was going to be one of the worst signings ever.
The La Liga millions seem God sent for Barcelona. Finally the club will be able to resign Messi, not sure if Griezmann sale will proceed anyways. Perhaps not anymore.
That’s great news for the other teams not named Barca, Real or AM I guess
lol
La Liga making sure their league is relevant by helping the big teams
Well in the past Barça and Madrid took almost all TV rights, I think it's much more balanced now. Still, from the last 17 leagues, Barça and Madrid won 15, Atlético 2.
I think they are doing right investing in the product, because they could command higher TV rates to compete with the Premier League that slowly shifted the balance of power. The last few Champions and Europa leagues semifinalists are mostly English.
Chiringuito and Iñaki Angulo say Messi is leaving Barcelona, though those sources are more linked to Real Madrid.
Quite honestly, Messi still has it, but not for the Champions. In La Liga vs small teams still looks great. Versus Madrid or Atlético for seasons already does very little.
Perhaps Barça won't see value from paying the outrageous amounts Messi demands.
