Pop is an amazing coach. He has flaws though that are critical at times namely against LA.
All the Popsuckers that scoffed and tried to ridicule me when I said that Pop is still the biggest obstacle to the Spurs winning a le....
what is the reasoning now?
Where is the Coach of the year?
Bonner still the first "big" off the bench...
No sight of a TD/Tiago pairing....
Blair...6'7'' starting center ...
Being embarrassed by MIKE BROWN....MIKE IN' BROWN!
McRoberts posterizing Bonner....Pop pulls Bonner...Pop puts Bonner right back in...GENIUS!
No One on the Spurs with any desire...any fire...any balls...and Coach Pop didn't change anything...just kept the same rotation...the same everything....
This is what the Playoffs have in store...and this is exactly what happened last season...
Pop has had two seasons now with Splitter...and in two seasons...he has not been able to "find time" to try and integrate his only two players approaching 7 feet....this is the NBA where being tall is something that can't be taught...on top of that Splitter is not just some "serviceable' "blue collar" role player...he can actually be an asset by his mere presence on the court with his vision, passing, and basketball IQ...but head coach has pissed away two seasons....
This seasons playoffs are just about here and head coach is right on cue to get embarrassed again....
COTY....
Pop is an amazing coach. He has flaws though that are critical at times namely against LA.
Spurs came out of the game healthy. That's all that matters.
CRICKETS!!!!
You pussies...
You sure were riding on pops nutz when they were beating up on teams with "small ball" and pop was getting accolades....
now all you pussies are hiding in terror...
this is what I've been screaming about....that Pop WILL NOT EVER HAVE THE BALLZ TO PLAY TALL...
That Pop is the biggest obstacle to the spurs winning a le....
Where are you poplovers?
Eventually it doesn't matter what happens, Pop is the best coach in the league (just visit Lakerground and ask anyone) and you're still an emo enlightened, prius drving prison guard.
Waiting for the bodies to stop falling from the sky, tbh.
I drive a 2012 Ford Mustang 5.0 six-speed manual head!
I might just go terrorize the neighborhood and scare the out of women and children after watching this stupid coach get the whole team embarrassed!
Sarcasm detection fail...
Im curious, if we all blame Pop then what?
What happens next? Is there an automatic thing that happens?
I have got one word for the rest of the league...
SANDBAGGING!
I guess if we can't blame even 'the slightest thing' on our "Head Honcho" who doesn't seem to giva' flying as to what anybody else thinks (for all we know) ... Then we must go on and continue to blame it on this wacked-up, condensed sheduling/season. Simple as that, folks. Okay? K.
I think Pop is a great coach, but I can't defend the fact he won't even try a Duncan/Splitter lineup. Especially when the mismatches are so obvious. It truly is an enigma for the ages.
somebody stole the chapter from his playbook - How to coach tall-ball.
No need for damage control unless the Lakers win the next two against the Spurs.
It was important for Parker, Bonner and Mills to get some good minutes shooting bad shots and lets the Fakers know that we are spreading the floor effectively by limiting Splitter to 15 minutes of play.
Pop can take the blame for this loss. Still a great coach. Hes defintiely going to have to make adjustments if he faces the Lakers, or the Grizz in the playoffs, or its going to be another short playoff run.
Your pussy would dry up
Has Pop ever admitted that the ed up? I don´t remember, he always gives credit to the other team, they made more shots, they played more physical, we didn´t make plays when we were supposed to, but he never admits when he s up
Wow, that's pretty emo.
Tell me again about Pop's brilliance...
You'll have to link my saying he was brilliant in the first place.
I'll wait.
If you don't find it, you'll know you're also being pretty emo.
keep waiting...
in the meantime...are you ready to admit that Pop is the spurs biggest obstacle?
Watching ESPN and NBA TV experts this week and most agree that Spurs and Thunder are two best teams in the Western Conference and likely to meet in Western Conference Finals. I dont think one loss to the Lakers is going to change anyones mind. Surely not mine.
You'll never find it.
lol emo.
I'd say the Lakers are at this point. Not sure if the Splitter/Duncan frontline would really compete. Worth a try though.in the meantime...are you ready to admit that Pop is the spurs biggest obstacle?
4 rings? 4 more than anyother spurs coach. I think he deserves a little bit of respect.
Worth a try lol
You and Pop are so alike it's funny.
You'd both give the pairing about 3 games and if the team wasn't 3-0 and Splitter wasn't putting up MVP caliber numbers immediately, you'd both give up on it.
