Tomorrow night they'll be complaining because Pop rests the Big 3.
STFU Barkley! Your big-ass mouf' will NEVER EVER get you a ring! Time to mute him again!! He couldn't analyze himself out of a paperbag!! "Turrrble. Simply Turrrbble."![]()
Tomorrow night they'll be complaining because Pop rests the Big 3.
I said it earlier, but I'll mention it again. Everybody ought to remember to thank Gary Neal for his part in this win. He did some good work tonight that really helped with the momentum. But the big thing is that last night he came in and settled the game down, so that Pop could keep the Big 3 on the bench.
I don't know if anyone paid attention to the +/- during the game. Up until late in the fourth quarter, the Big 3 were HUGE positive, and nearly everyone else on the team was close to flat (except, strangely, Diaw). We don't win this game tonight without all 3 of those guys being in, and fresh.
Probably. Time the average fan got some long-term perspective.
He prevented Bynum from turning into Wilt.
Especially posters like TJastal.
The Spurs don't seem to have any weaknesses if Pop is willing to play Splitter. I like their chances.
I won my bet..
What are you talking about Mel? It's Sacramento.
I was against sitting the big 3 this game because it was the Lakers (who had embarrassed us last game) and because of the effect that had on the standings. If Tim, Tony, and Manu want to sit tomorrow they've earned it with their play tonight.
Blair playing 0 minutes makes me damn happy.
just showed Bynum's post game comments, he was pissed, couldn't hear the whole thing because he was mumbling most of it
Guaranteed a W on Friday.
butthurt
getting schooled by a 35 year old
getting outrebounded by Bonner
He said the Spurs "beat us like we just stole something".
Neal played his role to perfection tonight. Didn't try to do too much, played within his game, knocked down the shots he's supposed to make and then some. And with the horrible backcourt that is the Lakers, wasn't required to play much defense. Solid outing.
I think the Kings very well may beat the Spurs tomorrow night, even if the Big 3 play. It's the third night of a b2b2b with the Kings on 3 days rest. Considering how well they match up with the Spurs despite their age and the fact it's gonna be one of their last home games, I expect them to go all out.
Of course it makes all the sense in the world to rest Tim, Tony, and Manu tomorrow night, but that game has trap written all over it. While you may not be among those complaining, I guarantee you there will plenty of it if the Spurs lose tomorrow while the Big 3 sit.
But what if Manu reallyreallyreallyREALLY wants to play, Mel? Do you object?
ETA: Because he is the (main) one I want to see keep building back up. But yes... of course... his health. It's all just a frustrating thing to witness. *le sigh*![]()
I wonder if it was due to the forearm that Matt Barnes layed into Manu's ribs while he was shooting a corner three. Manu made the shot but he was holding his ribs all the way back down court and to the bench at the time out.
Blair got some rest. He should be able to dominate against the Kings.
have a couple days off before Friday's game so well see how he is then.
How anyone who visits this board and doesn't have this jackass on /ignore escapes me. He is wrong with every take, every premonition, every prediction, every thought. He is basically wrong about everything. He is like the guy who tries to sell you used chewing gum, or the Iraq war 10-years out. He's an idiot. Nothing he says should be read, much less taken seriously. Every prediction he makes is complete and total fail.
Bynum is one of those guys who seems like a hot head and lets stupid get to him. He lets his emotions get the best of him which still shows just how immature he is....
Yeah. You missed a good one. So...care to fall asleep before playoff games?
It helps if your opponent on the other side is Steve Blake who cannot take advantage of Neals poor defensive skills![]()
It really was an awesome game - sorry you missed it. Tony was on fire and just manhandled the Lakers. Timmy was hitting his outside shots and had a monster dunk that shook the backboard. It was such a fun game to watch!
