Bonner being his normal ineffective self, cannot hit in any situation where points might matter.

    Sam Amick

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich can be one of the best quotes in the biz when he wants to be, & today was one of those days. He deemed this the best season yet for PG Tony Parker: "This is his best year. At the offensive end, he's always been able to score. But he's also distributed the ball better than he ever has before and involved other people, so he's done both...At the same time, he's played his best year of defense and his leadership and understanding on the court are his best thus far."
    Sam Amick

Per the quotable "Pop," Spurs coach admitted he saw Parker as "soft" in the beginning- "The first time we worked him out, we didn't want him. We sent him away. We just said we weren't interested. I think it was the draft...I just thought he was unfocused. I just thought he was too cool. I thought he was soft." More on SI.com tomorrow.

    ... and a game best +12.

Funny how every shot he misses is automatically a "meaningful" situation but the ones he makes are dismissed. If TD isn't playing and the other two guys in the big three have combined for 21 first half minutes, I'm not sure this is the most meaningful game you can draw your conclusions on.

Clips gonna hold on to beat the Nuggets. If the Thunder don't lose the Spurs more than likely are gonna have to play the Lakers in the second round. Tank the game Friday, they prolly fall to the 2 seed and allow the Lakers to stay at 3. Beat them and it hastens their fall to the 4th seed.

Since he'll be an important part of the rotation, however, we'll just have to pray that 2012 turns out to be Bonner's year. I admit that I'm not convinced though.

Not watching the game right now but it looks like Blair's been decent?

I loved the trade but Stephen Jackson is doing some of the most idiotic things on the court I have seen all year. All Jackson has to do is play good D, rebound and shoot open looks created by someone else...that's it. Instead, he is ball hogging, negating already made baskets and finding creative ways to dribble the ball off of his foot.

I don't get this "Stephen Jackson needs to do more on offense"....he's playing within the system and he's doing what he was brought in to do which is play d and add toughness to this team....why do y'all think all of a sudden him being on this team would make his shooting percentage jump way up? He's playing the same way he's been playing for like the past 3 or 4 years which is fine because I would still take him over any day

I think the spurs should just get that #1 seed if we meet the thunder in the conference finals it will be worth it

Yes but if they meet the Lakers in the second round they very well might not get there.

TBH stephen is still the same jackson he was back when he was in SA he wanst exacltey a great shooter but he can hit big shots when needed and even if his shots arnt falling he still effects games in the playoffs unlike RJ who would just completley fall apart if that happend to him
