So the trailer has Ronaldo sporting a Real Madrid crest... does PES have licensing rights now?

PES has the La Liga license now, and will give free DLC that will include all La Liga stadiums. They will do the same with the Brazilian league. They also have Champions League, Europa League, UEFA SuperCup, Copa Libertadores, and Copa Sudamericana all playable in the Master League mode.

Apparently PES 2014 will use the "Fox Engine" also used for Metal Gear Solid 5. They also opened up headquarters all over Europe to help make future PES games more European-like, as everyone is sick of the Japanese style atmosphere always present in PES.

Yep, played a few games of it, really smooth gameplay. But I can see how people can get turned off by it. You can't just put C. Ronaldo as the center forward and feed him lobs all day for a 1-on-1 with the keeper. You have to slowly build up play, and use the right stick to make players go on runs.

The game seems to be less static and repe ive than FIFA 12; the players move well without the ball and they will run/cut; it allows for more creativity

The AI defense seems to be tougher, but in a realistic way, if that makes sense to you

The crowd's reactions seem to be more realistic

Played like 6 games so far pretty good tbh. Gameplay seems a lot more fluid and faster, not as sluggish as fifa 12 felt at times.

The skill games are fun too. I think i spent like an 1 hour playing the one where you have to lob the ball into the cans. is addicting.

Gamestop is giving out steelbooks with God on the cover as a pre-order bonus.

FIFA 13 – No Camp Nou


As some of you have mentioned in the comments, it has been confirmed that the Camp Nou will not be featuring in FIFA 13.
Spotted in an Airjapes video from the YouTube event, someone posted this image to facebook, prompting Romily Broad to reply.
“Yeah, unfortunately we couldn’t get a license for Camp Nou this time out,”

So that just leaves the question of why we put it in our stadium list?
Because it was in the preview build that we pulled the list from, we can only assume that when that code was pressed the license issue was ongoing and EA were hoping to retain it. As it turns out they haven’t and it’s being pulled from the game.
So apologies for getting it wrong. Blame Dave. He wrote the list.
