Bonner + Blair + Joseph + Cash posts in 3, 2...
Bonner + Blair for Anderson. But only if they throw in a pick also.
Bonner:
Regular Season PER: 14.2
Playoffs PER: 7.6
Anderson:
Regular Season PER: 18.4
Playoffs PER: 7.8
DO NOT WANT.
I follow the Magic and Anderson's been great for them.
Plus they are players in the same mold. One thing that differs with RA is that he can also bang in the inside. A trait Matt Bonner would have to sell his soul for it to be gotten.
Until the playoffs start.
IIRC, Spurs were high on Anderson when he came out of college. That playoff PER is definitely worrisome though.
The other thing is that he'll likely command a big salary coming off a "most improved" season. Spurs should be smarter than to "buy high" on this guy.
I posted this in the free agency thread:
And take a look at this. There have been 908 players in NBA history who have played at least 400 minutes in the playoffs. Now place them in order by FG%. As one would expect our Red Rocket comes in at a dreadful 832nd out of 908.
Anderson is 905th of 908.

Wow, thats pretty damning.
This. Anderson is by far the most overrated player on this board, and I never could see what anyone liked about him. It's funny that it was the trade Parker, start Hill crew that seemed to be so into Anderson too.
Haha, so this great shooter is only ahead of Chris Duhon, Lindsey Hunter, and Joe Ellis all time?
Anderson's going to get like 8-9M/yr isn't he?
Report: Hornets in talks for sign-and-trade for Ryan Anderson

Rivers, Gordon, and Anderson. Unibrow won't be getting many touches.
Do. Not. Want.
He's a slightly better version of Matt Bonner which isn't saying much. Besides, I would rather have Diaw, who is the more realistic signing.
Yup...headed to N.O.
Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine
I'm told New Orleans Hornets will acquire Ryan Anderson via sign-and-trade deal with Orlando. Deal is on verge of completion today
I guess N.O will be giving up Jack, Amino and Henry or something like that?
Jimmy Smith @JimmySmithtp
League source says #Hornets acquiring SF Ryan Anderson from #Magic in sign and trade for Gustavo Ayon.
Hennigan's blowing it up in Orlando. Would rather have the trade exception than a mediocre player.
Maybe they are getting ready to unload Howard?
That is the benefit of having cap space. As bad as Anderson has been in the playoffs, he is still a solid regular season guy. But I think Ayon is a solid player - that is a good trade for ORL IMO if you are blowing it up and rebuilding. Cap Space + Ayon is solid.
glad new orleans is getting him. guy cant breathe in the playoffs
