    Remember when the NBA acted all tough during the lockout, until Thanksgiving when Stern was scared less of a Christmas-less NBA season? The NHL really doesn't give a about anything. Now they're more than likely losing the entire season for the 2nd time in 8 years, and possibly even a 3rd in 9 years. The sides are so far apart that they might not play 2013-14 as well. What's going to happen when they start playing in October 2014?

    I can't even believe I'm going to say this but, I'd trade Gary Bettman for David Stern in a heartbeat. At least with Stern you know he doesn't have any balls to outright cancel an entire season, and he wouldn't force unwanted parity or send out teams into non-hockey markets.

    I really have to see this to believe it. Some guy from Sportsnet Connected says that one of the problems brought up is TOWELS. Players don't like the quality of the towels that are handed out

    I still think it's funny that the owners main point is, "Look, we know we said that we'd give you players more than 50% in the last deal 8 years ago. But we were stupid. We made really stupid deals. So... how about you take 50% now. Or maybe a little less. Is that cool?"
