Honest, that was his pick on the OKC-SAS series
shut up got
I know.
Dude you quoting RealGM? They are the varsity version of the Bleacher Report.
I got a good chuckle out of this though: Los Angeles Grandpas
Good . Keep 'em coming.
Pre knee injury CP was a beast tbh.
Too bad you got the post-injury CP3
Still a beast, tbh...
Still the #1 or #2 PG, but had the potential to be a 55% 22ppg 12 assist kind of player, tbh
Damn shame
Lakers have a post surgery Howard...
So does the Heat with Wade. You were saying?
Howard had back surgery, Wade had minor knee surgery. Either way the point was you can't knock Paul when Howard has his own question marks.
I haven't really read too much about it, but Dwight had a surgery for a herniated disk IIRC. It's a pretty minor surgery, as far as spinal surgeries go.
Unlike ACL injuries or exploded knees, he shouldn't see a long term performance dip.
...and I guarantee you the Lakers' did their homework on this. No way they continue to dangle Bynum all summer if they were not 100% sure that D12 would be healthy if they traded for him. Was it a coincidence that he rehabbed in LA?
LINKKevin Ding:
Lakers got permission to consult with Dwight Howard's back surgeon, Robert Watkins, this morning. Said Kupchak: "We feel very assured he’s going to be back. We’re hopeful he’s back for camp; we’re hopeful he’s back to start the season. But we know he’s going to be back and playing at a high level at some point in time."
