I saw it elsewhere.
Gilbert
Phoenix wanted Scola back when the Spurs had his rights.
Not shocking that he was claimed, great value as a trade asset in a year.
its actually a decent fit. He's reunited to Dragic. Looks like suns may add Mayo and Beasley to go along with the Polish guy. Not a bad starting 5.
Moving right along.....Turiaf??
Well, it's better that he goes to an irrelevant team than to a contender.
I was wrong!
It's amazing how dumb some of these front offices are. The Suns should be bottoming out for a few years and trying to get as high of picks as possible, in order to build some semblance of a young core that at least makes them respectable in the future. Instead, they've blocked (unless they're going to trade Frye) one of their few young players with upside from being in the rotation (Morris) and seem to be attempting to put together a team that get's them 6th-8th picks for a few years. In other words, it's almost as if they're intentionally attempting to be perpetually stuck in no man's land.
To add Luis Scola, the Suns made Josh Childress and amnesty cut, source said.

I bet you he is not a happy person right now
Phoenix suns turn into the phoenix Rockets. Scola back with Dragic & one of the Morris Brothers.
Could have been worse. Phoenix is better than Cleveland, Sacramento, or Charlotte.
Yeah it sucks for him. At least he will have some fun with Argentina NT.
On a more global note, this amnesty system is really bad for the players. If there is a new round of amnesty in a future CBA, players should fight for a better systems.
Oh, he's happy. Great weather, good looking women, and a fountain of youth training staff.
Spurs should too give Phoenix a call to see if Fry is available.
I agree but we don't know how Phoenix will be without Nash for the first time in seven years
They have Dragic and they'll still play the same style. At any rate, Scola has been on three straight lottery teams, so it can't get too much worse.
'twas too good to be true
So they could have a second Matt Bonner? I'll pass.
I won't feel bad for a guy getting paid $30 million dollars to play basketball and live in Phoenix.
For the curious:
Stein said it’s not immedately known how many teams bid for Scola, beyond the Suns and Dallas Mavericks.
nothing unusally
