The US is not running all of their stuff on O and D. By the time the Olympics hit, they're going to beat these teams by larger margins.

I wouldn't be so sure about that especially when you have players like Westbrick and LeChoke. Then there's that one washed up 2 guard that was named after Japanese cows.
tbh when it counts, I'm more afraid of Westbrick's potential to up games late in games.
Lebron won't up games or choke. I think that label should be removed from him.
Melo is the culprit who would choke and under-perform as he's so use to doing.
If Melo ain't hitting his shots, he's useless in this type of game. Sure he rebounds, but other than that, the guy does nothing to help the offense or defense.
I hate how coach K gives Melo so many minutes. He should play Anthony Davis or a more capable defensive player.
Definitely agree that Melo should be demoted to water boy and Anthony Davis should be given a better chance to step up. That is if I wanted USA to win, which I don't.
LeChoke always misses big free throws when it really counts. He's not clutch and gets streaky in the end game.
tbh, this is probably true, but there's good enough teams now where you're not going to see '92 Dream Team stuff, IMO... that team had an average winning margin of 42+ points per game...
They would completely wax the floor with this Team USA, IMO
Of course, the 1992 team was better constructed and was the epithome of versatility, having many players to play many positions on different ways, they had easilly 5 players with bbiq off the charts, than no one on this team matches those top 3. And had 2 amazing defensive/offensive centers.
If you go by legend names, this team has only LeBron, Durant and Bryant, those are the only ones to be able to end their career at the status of the big names on the 1992 team.
I call it like this, 1992 was the dream team, this one is the ESPN team.
They had Magic we have Westbrick. The comparison need go no further...
This US team is taking the gold. I'm taking bets if anyone doubts that.
Just finished watching the game on DVR. Ginobili's a boss, but my god, his Argentinian team gets uglier every Olympics.
i don't doubt it either.
You're really going out on a limb with that prediction...
USA winning gold is all but a guarantee. I'd say they have a 99% chance, rounding down to the nearest whole number.
Too much over confidence for Team USA when you have the likes of Westbrick, LeChoke, and Mellow who could easily throw an important game away especially now that the compe ion is much more stacked.
For those who are saying nowadays many teams has nba players on their rosters, i want to say that Argentina in 2002 defaeted the Dream Team without active nba players (Sanchez and Wolkowisky played in the NBA, but they didn't have many playing time..). And in 2004, when they did it again, they only have Manu..
Drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2002 (and severely underutilized by both coach Hernandez and Lamas, as I see it), you might want to add... (oh, I almost forget) tbh (is this some kind of inside joke or code??? have I missed something?) lol
I didnt know Federico was drafted, certainly he seemed to have a lot a of future back in 2002/2003 when he played in spain. Dunno why he never became the great player he was considered to be
Yeah, I know what it stands for, but ElNono and others seem to (over)use it on every single post (tbh) to the point they really don't sound honest at all anymore lol
not sure what you mean, tbh
Are you honest, tbh? Like, really honest? lol
Im calling out timvp here,
Im convinced that he started this 'tbh' trend in this board. If you read his threads or posts, im positive that 91% of his texts contains a 'tbh'
