valiant effort, tbh.... Team USA clearly the better team though... not without their own issues
If Argentina plays like this, they'll beat a team of Spain's caliber imo

Scola possibly just choked away the game.
Probable weren't going to win anyways.

If the US plays like this they might lose to a team of Spain's caliber, tbh.

I'm surprised LeChoke even hit one of his free throws.

We will have a really good idea about this in the next exhibition game which happens to be against Spain

Good game for Argentina, obvious improvement from the Spain game.

The US is really a two men show, with zero presence down low.
If I'm Spain, I like my chances.

The bright spots for argentina are that his back up point guard is more than valuable. Delfino is still a great player. The compe iveness is still there and that is arg main weapon over any other team, they might not have the same legs but with fierce compe iveness they might get some upsets.

The brightspot for Argentina is that they don't have to play a team so much better than them each time out.

Was really pleased to see Manu dominate that second half.

    lol SportingNews

The U.S. Olympic basketball team dressed like the Dream Team for Sunday's game against Argentina. Too bad it didn't put a full effort into the game. Final score: U.S. 86, Argentina 60.

tbh when Manu is being Manu, he's still the best 2 guard in the world and it's not even close.

To be honest the 1992 Dream Team didn't face teams with NBA players on them.

Argentina has 3/4. Manu alone would make the game compe ive.

    even spur fans underrate ginobili
i see other people put him in the tier of joe johnson/monta

ginobili is the best at getting to the rim of kobe/wade and hitting free throws
wade is good at splitting double teams but he cant finish anymore
kobe gets to the rim maybe once a game now

ginobili is also easily the best 3 point shooter/shooter
i know kobe put up some of the worst numbers ever for an all star 2 guard shooting wise and wade i dont even wanna bother

    kobe/ginobili are the same defensively
wade is the best but only because of his elite athleticsim

ginobili is easily the best passer/playmaker
wade and kobe are good but theyre iso guys
you cant really put the ball in their hand and run an offense like you can with ginobili

ginobili is also imo more clutch then kobe and easily wade
kobe is a volume shooter who goes 0/9 then might make the last shot so he gets a reputation of being clutch
ginobili makes the shots before that and the final ones
hes also one of the few players ive seen who have won games getting steals/blocks/assists/getting to the foul line/drawing charges/flops

the other guys just score, manus won games without the ball in his hands

Manu didn't have such a great game, tbh... he did play good for spurts, especially in the 3rd... but at this stage in his career that's all he's probably going to give you... With games every other day, ARG will need to rely more on Delfino for consistent production...
