Shouldn't Obama be worried that he had to beg Bill Clinton save his ass at the convention? Doesn't that make him look weak to possible voters or is the koolaid too strong?

If not for term limits any doubt Billy Clinton would have pushed Repugnatin ish in for the 3rd election in a row and ran off 12 straight years of suplus?

Odds that Clinton called Obama "son" or "boy" tonight?

I meant in private. Bill Clinton is more likeable than Obama because Clinton was able to compromise and was not really a liberal or a hardcore liberal. Clinton was a centrist. Things were great when Clinton was president. Since he left the White House, America has gone down the crapper.

Again, the surplus was only on paper. He always had a deficit, else the debt would have decreased.

If I do my monthly house budget, and always plan for a surplus, but then buy other items that exceeded the surplus after I made my budget plans.... is that a surplus...

Pretty much. Best president of my lifetime. I agree with crazy Jessie Ventura. I'd rather have a thousand Monica Lewinskies than one 9/11.

"The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns 45% of the vote. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided."

Please, Clinton wasn't that much better than Dubya or Obama.... same warmongering in the Middle East, same ignorance of the Cons ution.... the economy looked better on paper, but fiat money is always a joke and the Fed simply hadn't pushed us into the bust part of the cycle yet, tbh....

That being said, I can't deny that he was FAR more likeable than the two people that came after him.... a President with Bill Clinton's speaking ability and charisma, and Ron Paul's principles, sound money, non-interventionism, and adherence to the Cons ution would be a lock for best POTUS ever, tbh....

    "The Rasmussen Reports"

Since when does popular vote count? It didn't count in 2000!

The popular vote only counts partly, otherwise, we'd be subject to the tyranny of the majority, no matter how small the margin is, tbh.....

Please do yourself a favor. Delete the Rasmussen Poll link you are using.

I believe they usually shout "Mitt". Yes. There were lots of them, although sometimes I wonder if people even listen to the speaker before they begin to cheer. I think R/D wait for key words like smaller government or heath care and then just begin to cheer.
