Normally I would agree and say Israel can handle itself. But can anyone honestly say that leaving one or more of these countries unstable won't come back to bite us? The reason we "police" the world is probably based on the fact that we sat around with our thumbs up our asses during two world wars trying not to get involved.

The problem with the criticism of the muslims by western white people is not that you are not allowed to do it or even that you shouldn't do it. The problem is when you criticize them from a position where you put yourself above them. When you start the criticism by the premise that you are better than them (as clearly displayed in this thread).

And just to be clear if you do think you are better than them then you are pretty much in agreement with those criminals who attacked the embassies - they to think they are better than you.

Your position also ignores the fact that a majority of Muslims and people of other faiths, in the region, are not opposed to the American influence or presence in the region. Who cares, WE are opposed to american presence in the region. Pull back, defend OUR borders, wash our hands, and let them burn each other down. NO assistance, no military aid for any of those countries, no intelligence aid, nothing.
