People get all riled up about Arab Muslims like they're some existential threat to the Western way of life in 2012. They aren't. They never will be because their culture is self-limiting. These aren't Turks. The only people who can be a threat to your way of life are people who are at least as powerful as you are. So, for example, America could over Slovenia if it wanted to because Slovenia is a ty little country that never had anything good that wasn't handed to them by the Austrians.

Red-state Americans get bent out of shape over the prospect of people with little or no power ing them over. Examples: Muslims in the Middle East, Hispanics, blacks, etc. This is idiotic. They are completely blind towards people who might actually be able to exercise power over them -- white, blue-state Americans and secular Jews. Why is this? Racism, as in unwillingness to view white "fellow citizens" as the other? Certainly I have no problem with racism since objective reality is racist, but when it makes you unable to see your true enemy it must be called out.

Ha, so it turns out after all that the movie was a pretext and that this was a coordinated attack carried out by the Egyptian and Libyan governments together with Al Qaeda to give America another bloody nose on 9/11.
