So we want the Skankees to lose this game because Texas can most assuredly hold off Oakland for the West crown right?
Yep, but the A's gave it away.

I think they didn't give anything away tbh.

Yankees lead almost all the way and had that game won in like 3 different occasions and somehow ed it up.

This was a gift win imo.

wtf are you talking about? If you have a 4-run lead in extra innings and lose, you gave that away. It's not even debatable

Was that really the determining factor though? They score 4 then Yankees score 4 on the same inning. They went on to play an inning and a half afterwards.

ummmmmmmmmm, yeah? You're a team chasing a playoff spot and you give up 4 runs when all you need is 3 outs.

    Minessota sucks.

They were primed to at least tie the game and instead didn't even score a single run.

Yankees will probably tag at least 2 runs per inning. lol

Also why tf is local tv carrying the Astros game as if Austin has a vested interest in anything Houston does. Outside of the obvious 95% Longhorn fan population, pro team rooting interest here is almost exclusively Dallas in the other sports with a little bit of Spurs fan sprinkled about. ing keeping up with baseball on smartphone apps

Yankees win, Orioles split the two games.

Yankees now have a game and a half on the Orioles.

O's can tie atop the AL East with a win today...they were 2.5 out a few days ago, so not too shabby.

Oakland was down 4-2 in the 9th and had a crazy win too.

Oakland is going to win that division. Rangers failed to seal the deal.

    1.5 Actually.

Yankees deserve to be kicked out of first place.

They loaded the bases like 3 times against the Jays today with 1 or less then two outs and totally whiffed.

Sadly, they will get Boston and Orioles will get the Rays on their next series.

    Boston is god awful.

Yankees will sweep Boston as well, Os will lose at least 1 game to Tampa and that will be enough.

Texas is done. They are losing out. This last loss proved they still have that 2011 late inning World Series magic.

What happens if the Yankees, Orioles, Rangers, A's and/or Angels end up with the same record? I know that baseball is the only sport where teams play an extra game to decide tie breakers but 4 teams or 5 teams all being tied is a lot.
