Eye injury: Talked about being in wrong place at the wrong time, puts things into perspective.
Defense: Had to top offense efficiency, defense is main focus.
Young guys: Pop has a lot of confidence in our young guys in their 2nd year with the Spurs.

In the background of the Pop video, DB is making something of like 10 of 12 mid range jumpers.
Pop didn't give a lot of hype to Witherspoon and basically called his game against Houston a fluke.
It's likely what it is: Witherspoon hasn't been good overall during the camp and will be cut. An alternate less likely scenario would be that Spurs like him and want to work with him in the long term. The issue is that he is only on an one year contract which doesn't help to have a long term project. Spurs might want to hide him for the reminder of the camp, waive him and then sign him after he clears waivers to a long term contract.
