    Lohse is a FA and Carpenter has to be a question mark. If they can figure out their rotation they'll be fine. Matheny is an excellent manager and will get the most out of those guys.

    I suppose to some extent it's a choke job, but it was also a uva season for a respectable team

    Well lets hope not too bad for first year manager and some key injuries. No excuses though, they lost to the better team. Good comeback

    After last nights win, no way the Cards fail to repeat. I hated them for beating the Phillies, but that hate died when they broke the Rangers hearts like they did to the Nationals last night. This team is just too good, too talented, too resilient to be beaten 4 times. No one else is good enough to eliminate them. Mark this down, last night's dramatic game 5 win sealed a repeat for the St. Louis Cardinals. What a team. @Pujols.
    That is not always true, as we see now.
