I don't know the Giants enough to make a prediction but judging on what I've heard. Giants in 4/5

The Cards are a better hitting team

Starting pitching goes to the Giants

Slight advantage for Giants in the pen

    Slight advantage for Cards defensively

Manager goes to Giants, although I hold Matheny in very high regard. He closed his career out with SF and helped to develop Cain, Lince and others. Knows the Giants staff quite well. Could be an advantage

JMO... Adds up to a close series

After last nights win, no way the Cards fail to repeat. I hated them for beating the Phillies, but that hate died when they broke the Rangers hearts like they did to the Nationals last night. This team is just too good, too talented, too resilient to be beaten 4 times. No one else is good enough to eliminate them. Mark this down, last night's dramatic game 5 win sealed a repeat for the St. Louis Cardinals. What a team. @Pujols.

eh, the Giants comeback was more impressive. 3 in a row on the road is unprecedented

regardless, I'd be shocked if this goes any less than 6

The Cardinals are the luckiest team in baseball right now. That is all.

Were you a fan in 2004 when they got swept in the WS by the Red Sox?

No, what's the relevance to making a statement they are the luckiest team right now when that's 8 years ago

I asked that question because it proves you jumped on the bandwagon or at minumum became a fan of the Cardinals recently.

I just went for them because I was given their hat. I knew nothing about winners etc. Gotta start somewhere but it's clear you're just pissed about something that's happened because luck does not factor in their wins to any significant extent or at all

The cards aren't just getting by because of luck tbh.

They often get treated like underdogs and seriously underestimated.

When you root for the Cubs and Rangers you have to hate the Cardinals. They are the Yankees of the National League.

The series will be decided tonight. If the Cardinals win game 2, it's over.

Okay fair enough. I'm just more of a hater of single players than whole teams really

Well they do have the most y players in all of baseball so people are kind of right there.

Otherwise I cant hate on them for going all out with money. Baseball allows that . I say put a cap limit on how much you can spend and problem solve.

Yeah good point, when I first starting following baseball people just told me Yankees were the big wankers
