I like the play calling so far. As much as I am not a fan of Miles, I had a feeling he was going to mix it up tonight after having zero turnovers last week.

LSU offensive line is dominating and getting a great push so far. playaction should be there now
earlier in the year Miles would run it 8 or 9 times out of 10 and then EVERYONE in the stadium knew they would be throwing on 3rd and long. they have already passed the ball 6 times which is about how many times they usually have passed the ball at halftime lol. last week was a good offensive game for LSU. no turnovers and they started to click better with the passing. still a long way to go for them to get better passing, but they have improved tremendously over the last couple weeks.
and as soon as I say that Mettenberger over throws back to back lol ... stupid ing field goals
the key, whether it's effective or not, is to keep doing it. otherwise Bama will be in the backfield all night

Again, just a Public Service Announcement here, but Rudy is on NBC right now and it's much more entertaining than this snooze fest.

Never been a huge fan of the movie Rudy tbh.
LSU has clearly been the better team in the first half stats wise, but if they lose it will be due to play calling. the last two possessions were blown opportunities that will likely come back to haunt them.
on the previous possession it was 4th and 12 with an easy field goal opportunity, but Miles chose to go for it and failed miserably ... should have taken the 3 points
on this last possession it was 4th and 4 with a 54 yard field goal attempt and they missed the field goal ... THAT is when you should go for it on 4th down, not when its 4th and 12 like before

All the ND players (including the team captain!) just threatened to quit the team if Rudy doesn't get to dress for the home game finale. Oh, man... this movie is an emotional powerhouse.
