    Micro transactions created a toxic environment with "pay to bully" games and an uneven playing field for compe ion. I predicted poorly designed games with lazy developers and little oversight due to this form of "hot shotting" a while back. $60 should buy you the whole game. It shouldn't be a cover charge.

    Madness. On the other hand, is it worse than people spending $2k on Fifa Ultimate Team every year?

    But yeah. Did DJR really think I spent hundreds on this? A) Wrong and B) I've never spent more than $80 total on a game, unless you count buying the GOTY Fallout 4 and flipping it when I realized I wasn't super interested in playing it right away.

    This next month is just ridiculous for Switch. Astral Chain on Friday, Link's Awakening and Ni No Kuni on September 20th, then Dragon Quest XI S on September 27th. Probably won't even touch my Playstation 4 this next couple of months (nor PC, since my GTX 970 crapped out and I'm not buying a new GPU until I find out what Cyberpunk needs ).

    Though I probably will play my Vita a bit still since I play Persona 4 Golden on it to study Japanese from a native source.

    Nintendo is finally getting the 3rd party support they haven't had since... SNES? It's crazy how many good games are out. I picked up Transistor for $4.

    LOL when I was thinking of buying an R9 280 or R9 290 in 2014 AMD was running a bundle where you got to pick 3 games and this was one of the choices I probably would have picked. And then never gotten to play in the life of the gpu.

    Still kills me that these highend official specs from when I was getting excited about this game are now eclipsed by an $85 cpu (Ryzen 5 1600AF) and a $120 gpu (RX 570).
