I sent him $50. I thought it was well presented.
Just hit 2 million+ in donations. Pretty impressive. Game looks incredible.

I'm probably going to pick up the $60 option for the upgraded ship. Wonder when the alpha will be released?
Seems like a lot of integrating the models with the engine has been done but who knows.
And i didn't know he had some promotions. I sent him when he first started promoting it a little less than a month ago. Damnit!
Two trailers (commercials) for a couple of the ships in game. All of these use the in-game engine, not pre-rendered cutscenes.
Oculus Rift support.
This game is going to be incredible.
wow, never heard of this game before, but after watching the videos, I am suddenly aware of the lack of spacecraft fighting games since X-wing, bender, and, and now I want to play bender again
Arena Commander is LIVE.
$44,000,000 in donations.
This game is going to be mind-blowing.
I met Chris Roberts when I was working for one of the main developing studios for Star Citizen.
From January to late April (contract).
They delivered the dog fighting module and and take care of the planet side.
I hired a bunch of talented artists and developers for them.
Also the Producer is pretty cool. He let me walk in the SC floor whenever I wanted, and he even got me a Cloud Imperium hoodie
That's awesome, lefty. I'm loving the dogfight module. This game has almost limitless potential.
Ok, I assume this is for the PC platform. What system specs does someone need to play this well.
LOL...
One thing for certain. My computer will not handle it. I knew it wouldn't, Its an E6300 at 2.8 ghz. I had a better graphics card in it at one time, the MSI R4350, but took it out because I have nothing that needs it. Back to the onboard Intel G41 express. I've been thinking of upgrading, and this requires more than I planned. This might be what gets me to do so. Besides, I need something to power the 4k monitor I plan to buy.

All this hype. has anyone actually witness a working version yet?
Still... I might upgrade for this game and take a chance as well. Took a chance as a Kickstarter backer, and i like the 1600 lumen Nanoleaf I got out of it.
Obviously the game is probably over hyped, however I am loving the dogfighting alpha. This game is glorious already and has endless potential.
It's quite a versatile game.
FPS, simulation and the economic engine is gonna be glorious
have you actually played a segment, or just watching carefully choreographed youtubes of it?
I hope so, but I'll believe it when I see it.
I hired 1 economic game designer and 1 economy gameplay programmer.
Both are very good since I stole them from Ubisoft
The alpha is live and playable if you bought access, which I did, I was one of the earliest investors.
It's buggy as , but GORGEOUS, and very fun to play. Immersive is probably the most prominent thing, it really puts you in the pit.
Sounds good. I assume they request feedback on the bugs, quality, etc.
Yup they do
I haven't kept up with computers as much as I used to. I read someplace that the intel H processors are the only ones capable of properly keeping up with the UHD output at 60hz.
Is H... meaning Hawsell?
Is this good or bad information?
No H is for Holy !
LOL...
Seriously, what processors and boar architecture qualify?
