    Superfight? Uh...

A dominant champ who is fighting a guy who is coming off of two straight losses?

I'm just not interested in any of the fights on this card so far. With the exception of Maia, I couldn't care less about any of these fighters. Nice to see the UFC put another cheater on the main stage of a PPV though. That'll show 'em.

I don't care about Edgar. And Aldo will whoop him..

I actually think that this will be a pretty good card. Edgar is a warrior - he is really hard to beat. I think Aldo will win but it's not going to be easy for him. Evans is also a top-notch fighter, and although he's going up against the aging Nogueira, it should be fun to watch. Bigfoot v. Ovareem will just be fireworks - somebody is getting knocked out. Fitch and Maia is a good matchup and should be fun to watch. Don't really care about Hieron v. Silva.

    gr8 card

I actually will root for Edgar and I think he can win this one.

Fitch an maia are contenders. Evans is Evans.

    Really good card

Evans appeared to go into a state of depression after the Jones fight. I seriously question his motivation heading into this one..

Nice Card. Like him or not Frankie is a great for Aldo. Hes going to have to show the complete package to get the W and hopefully he will

UFC ‏@ufc New Year's resolution kaput: Tyron Woodley in for injured Erick Silva v Hieron at 156; Mineiro Martins in for Salas v Barboza at UFC on FX 7

    * Other than Rousey , Woodley is one of the first SF guys to be on a main card in UFC (minus the SF HWs since they were essentially FAs once the HW tournament ended).

People talking about Frankie to be now on his weight class where still IMo his weight class is 135.

Aldo is bigger then Frank and with the dynamics of his /Aldos/ Edgar will have problems with the champs speed and power.

But again benson is bigger then Aldo. It might come down to a wrestling game of Frankie again.

Frankie i thought won the 2nd fight with Benson and when you look at 55 who up there can really beat him? If Guida could wrestle Pettis to a UD so can Frankie and he'd walk through Nate just like Benson did. Edgar could take this belt and be the 145 champ for a while. I am rooting him in this one because even though i am a fan of Benson that 2nd fight wasn't right..

Yup IMO Edgar also won that fight with Benson

    Anyway great card worth watching

I think you can even make a case for Edgar winning the first fight. and yeah the second one was easily for Edgar though i don't think he got a big shot and upsetting aldo here.

    MAIN (Pay-per-view, 10 p.m. ET)

    - Really Main event could go either way, lets see what Edgar can do at new weight.

    - If o can get Rashad in a guillotine maybe Little Nog can catch him in a sub

    - Reem by RKO (Roid Knock Out)

    - Maia seems to like this new weight class

    - Bendavidez out wrestles McCall

•Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar - for featherweight le

Main event is complete toss up but i am pulling for Edgar. He needs to use his footwork, boxing and wrestling to win this fight by decision. Could be another close fight for Edgar..

Rashad Evans vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira

Rashad by easy UD IMO.. Uses some wrestling and striking to win on pts..

    Alistair Overeem vs. Antonio Silva•J

KO Round 1.. Silva is too slow and unskilled for Reem..

    Jon Fitch vs. Demian Maia

Fitch better keep it standing or be very very careful on the ground..

    Joseph Benavidez vs. Ian McCall

Wow- IMO Aldo is a favorite. Don't forget how badly Frankie got rocked in Maynard fights. Aldo if in a same position as Gray would finish Frankie. Also brutal leg kicks might disturb Frankies footwork.

    hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar - seems like we all agree this is a close one, and I have a feeling it's going to be another decision that could've gone either way...

Rashad Evans vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira - I just can't see Rashad losing. He won't KO or submit Nog, but I think it will be a very one-sided decision.

Alistair Overeem vs. Antonio Silva - can we say KO of the night already?

Jon Fitch vs. Demian Maia - I keep going back and forth here. I'm not sure why I'm picking Fitch...

Joseph Benavidez vs. Ian McCall - UNCLE CREEPY!!!!!!!!
