Ur a and a re
You seem confident in the Lakers right now.
200.00 straight up they don't reach the WCF. No gy bonuses.
Don't be scared, bro.
Ur a and a re
That's what I thought. Nothing shuts up a -talker like telling him to put his money where his mouth is.
I'd say we take this conversation to the teams 2 games over .500 thread
Then put up the 5 bills u pussy
no, tbh... their earned their right to be here, fair and square, IMO
We promise never to make fun of this thread...the Lakers are still teetering on the brink of being ejected 'round this corner.
Why do you need odds, got?
If the Lakers are this team of destiny you s believe them to be, they should have no problem advancing to the WCF.
Welp, welcome Laker fan. Kobe willed your way in here.
This is the greatest jinx thread in the history of sports, while it lasted.
Nono = GOAT
I thought it did pretty good, tbh... 3+ months... never really thought it would take this long
Laker owner had to sacrifice his life for this imo
Now what if the Lakers win the Championship....
Laker TimesHow much of the Lakers' troubles this season should be attributed to injuries?
The Lakers have had just one game all season with their full roster, an opening-night loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
Starting point guard Steve Nash was injured in the team's second game. Backup point guard Steve Blake would go down next with an abdominal tear in early November. Eventually reserve big man Jordan Hill was lost for the season because of a hip injury.
Center Dwight Howard has been in and out of the lineup with shoulder issues. Power forward Pau Gasol sat with knee issues and is now down with a foot injury.
Recently Blake returned from his abdominal injury. Since then, the Lakers have won 13 of their last 19 games (68.4%).
The Lakers were able to win only 19 of their first 44 games (43.2%). Before Blake's return, the Lakers had won 25% of their away games. They've since won six of 11 (54.6%).
The closest the Lakers came to having their entire squad healthy was Jan. 29 in a home win over the New Orleans Hornets in Blake's return (only Hill was absent).
Outside of the season opener, that was the only game the Lakers had Howard, Gasol, Nash and Blake for 48 minutes.
In full games with Howard, Gasol and Nash (but no Blake), the Lakers have won seven of 14.
Gasol is starting to work his way back from the foot injury. The team may get a dozen games together before the postseason -- if they can avoid other setbacks along the way.
Should the Lakers break into the playoffs with everyone but Hill healthy, they may show that injuries were by and large the biggest obstacle this season.
Truth bombs. This thread wouldn't exist if the above weren't true. Oh, I have to upgrade the bolded (article is a few Ws old). The Lakers have won 15 of their last 21 (71.4%) games.
so Steve Blake, not JB, is the reason for the Lakers' surge
The are you talking about?
I made this thread at the start of december... it's embarrassing it took that $100 million sandwich this long to get in here
LOL fans in here, they get above .500 this late in the year and are 8th seed and act like they won the le! I bet if you told them at the beginning of the year when they got DWIGHT that they would be in 9th that long or so and take this long to get over .500 they would call BS! They would cry! Now they get over .500 this late and it's an accomplishment hahahahah.
brah this was a genius thread
North and South pole of coaches.. and u cant argue against the injuries.. wtf are you talking about
What are these creatures?
I'm talking about this:
Blake came back from abdominal surgery mid January... the injury excuse is terrible, tbh... this is the exact same team that was losing games for a good part of February...
And while Blake was out, the now-savior-Gasol was playing...
I would have to look when I created this, but IIRC, Lakeshow were only a game or two under .500... I didn't think it would end up taking this long, tbh
