    could have traded him for a half eaten pop tart and it would be advantage Rangers.

    With that said, he was a great Ranger and probably a top 5 Ranger of all time.

    If the Phillies can stay healthy sans Ryan Howard, they will be a dangerous team. Injuries derailed them last year.

    Top 5? without a doubt top 3 and could be argued that he is the best Ranger hitter ever with 2K hits, just shy of 1k rbi's, and a career .300 hitter over 11-12 seasons. Sure fire 1st ballot HOF but it was time to go for younger talent to shine.

    First ballot Hall Of Famer? If it's the Rangers HOF then yes. the baseball HOF? not even close. He's a fringe candidate.
