Utah won't be able to keep this up in the 2nd half. They're running up and down the court every possession while the Spurs are saving their energy.

All the Spurs need to do is keep calm and hit their shots, they'll be fine.

It's not about giving up, it's about the content, we can win vs scrubs team playing bad games, doesn't bode well for the PO.
    Utah is a scrub team?

Rough 2nd quarter defensively. Our guys aren't putting in the effort that is needed on that end. Also, the Jazz are abusing our thin frontcourt.

Gotta love SpursTalk using this game to indicate what our playoff success is going to be.
It's embarrassing. It's almost as bad as Lakersground. OMG WE'RE DOWN 2 AT THE END OF THE FIRST BLOW IT UP.

So the Spurs was playing like a juggernout when Blair was injured, now with Blair we barely beat Houston Harden-less and we are losing to Utah

Utah doing a great job exposing the Spurs bench.

I think you need a strong 8 to win it all. Not sure about running with this depth approach in the playoffs.

Utah's a good team, and a great one at home, tbh.

How many shots went all the way down and then rimmed out again? I counted about 3 layups and 2 three pointers...

Overall, the most worrisome aspect is that the Spurs looked tired. They admitted to being tired last game and again look gassed. I realize they've been on the road a lot but I'm not sure that's a legit excuse.

And it also doesn't bode well for tomorrow night either.

Man I hate to play this card but Spurs are getting hit hard by the scheduling.

OKC is on a 6 game homestand and play teams every night. The schedule is rigged to make sure they get the top seed.

That was about as bad a quarter as they've had so far this season. About 25% from the field. Were 1 for 9 at one point.

The only thing that sucks is if they lose tonight, they won't be able to tank against Portland tomorrow.

The Spurs should pull it together in the second half and win by about 7 or 8 points.

At least PHX did us a solid by beating the Grizz tonight.

They must not be aware that Utah is actually a good team. 8-1 at home means they're tough to beat. I actually thought we would lay an egg at the start of the game considering how tired we looked against Houston.

Not like the roster changed a lot, same shortcomings...
What shortcomings are those? Bad defense in a second quarter?

No more Blair or Joseph in the 2nd half please..

Spurs will have a hot shooting stretch at some point, they always do..if they can keep the deficit at 5-7 by the first few minutes of the 4th, they will win..

The NBA must really hate the Spurs. The Spurs always have trouble in Utah AND in Portland. How convenient that they scheduled the Spurs in both arenas on back to back nights...

Uh, you do realize that every team plays exactly 41 games on the road and 41 games at home by the end of the season, right? More road games now means more home games later.

Good thing we won a lot of games early, because I have a feeling this team is going to look fatigued and slow for a while.

tbh, he's such a stupid basketball player. That lack of IQ compounded with being short and fat doesn't help him out either.

Pop is doing a bad job with giving him too many minutes in this game.

Blair is playing his stupidest game of the season. Every time he touches the ball he feels the need to shoot a stupid jumper or do that stupid spin move and then bricks the lay up....

are most people here unaware of the absence of Kawhi and Jackson, tbh?..

loss of key depth + road trip + tough home opponent = struggles..

Agreed, and I don't get it. Aside from our big 3 the team is young. These guys have no excuse for being fatigued.
