Didn't Rondo have some sort of streak going on double figures in assists?

Good win, stopped the rot. Parker was immense in the second half. Rondo was rendered useless.

Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs are beginning to give Tim Duncan and Tiago Splitter extended minutes together.

“I enjoy being on the court with him,” Duncan said of Splitter. “He’s a great role guy for us and he gets to the front of the rim and makes plays there.
Duncan not playing his best, but this game plan worked well tonight.

The streak was over against brooklyn, because rondo only had 3 assists iirc before getting thrown out.

What? TD had a bad game tbh. He's tired, that's what I said. Got damn comprehension, bruh.
It's like TD do not have a right to have a bad game?

I'm tired of hearing about spurs being tired. They are pros they've been through tough stretches.
Talking about it 2 weeks and more? There is no reason for it esp. when they had that one day off.

Pop informed Splitter of new starting role on plane back from POR. "He told me I'd be starting with Timmy. Just keep doing what I'm doing."

After the ejection, he picked up right where he left off. So excluding the Brooklyn game where he attacked Kris Humprhies like a cat, this was the first time in 42 games where he hasn't reached 10 assists.

Didn't catch the game but just noticed that the Spurs and Celtics had the same exact FGM-FGA % and also grabbed the same amount of rebounds on both ends of the floor.

Duncan not playing his best, but this game plan worked well tonight.
Two years late but Pop is finally figuring it out maybe. Duncan's been saying that since last year. The help Duncan needs is another big on the court who can do much of the same responsibilities he has. That allows him to pick his spots more.

Is it cause DJB is injured or is it permanent?

Post-shootaround, Pop says all the injured guys (Manu, Jack, Leonard) are out tonight in OKC.
