Just an aside, but Ed Malloy's status as an elite official is completely baffling to me.

even bad nba players hit free throws at 50%
so it would be pretty easy for them to have 4/7 type numbers if theyre left wide open at the line

I didn't think it'd happen, but the loss of Neal made a huge difference to the offensive rhythm, especially when 2 of the big 3 are on the bench.

I'm not sure that's even true. But, for whatever reason, no matter how many times Malloy has to rewrite the rule book to explain his calls, he seems to have gained Herr Commissioner's favor.
And it looks like Pop doesn't like him. Every game Pop seems to be mad at some of his calls
Tbh, tonight is a perfect example of why we don't need Gary. We have plenty of shooters and plenty of offense. We need more defense, if anything, and he certainly doesn't solve that issue.
Green has been great against Mayo these last two games.
