It's not so much about what the NFL wants as it is what the colleges are looking for. More and more of these NCAA programs have athletes playing QB. Where does the NFL get their QB's......yep!

Nah, Russy is a dink and dumper for the most part - that is why he's accurate. Coach doesn't trust him to let loose and go vertical (because he can't with any sort of consistency). It's not that they can't make throws (RG3 has a very strong arm), but it's their decision making to be pocket passers or runners.
