It was probably an upper class man defensive starter where the classes are smaller and it's easier to see when someone strolls in a minute late.
I also wouldn't be surprised if Strong's staff has already gotten the professors on board. I bet the vast majority of the professors love a coach who will keep his players in line academically as opposed to the guy who just left who only talked about it.

I have a feeling Poona is going to be playing on the outside in a base 3-3-5 offense. from that position he will kill.
Of course if he grows like most think he will he will be a fire plug as a NT.
I remember watching a runningback from Beaumont Westbrook go to SMU and grow into one of the best nose tackles I've ever seen play, his name was Jerry Ball and he made a great career for himself in the NFL as a NT, hoping Poona can do the same.

UT has released a statement that QB David Ash is cleared for spring ball.
